This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. (03/22/2015) It’s only 2WD, but it looks good.
“1945 willy’s jeep on a 1973 CJ5 frame, new aluminum radiator, new alternator, new water pump. It has a 4.3L chevy with outside frame rail headers, Dana 44 rear and a dana 27 with disk brakes in the front. Currently 2WD, I have a T18 with a Dana 20 transfer case to make it 4wd. It’s been A project that I just don’t have the energy to finish.”

The body is interesting. It looks to me to be a late 70s/80s(?) reproduction tub, perhaps one of the earlier attempts of MD Juan to make a MB/GPW body? The body has M-38, CJ, and MB elements. Probably not too many of these around.
“Jeep Willys 1948 4×4 Very Nice for a project. Originally I wanted to work with this,but I have no time to build it. See pictures front and back axle are intact. just to sell this parts by parts is already worth for the price. Price is $1,800.00 cash only you need to haul it. No title but I have deed of sale. Not too original, but runs. Of course I’m in Seattle, so I can’t check it out in person (until Thursday).

“Up for sale today are 3 1940’s vintage willy jeep cj2as. Two are complete, one is taken apart, but is all there. The green one runs and drives probably needs a tune up, gas tank has been lined and fuel system flushed has tow bar used behind motor home very good body, frame excellent. Red one; clutch is bad other than that it is good, body solid some rust frame excellent. Third one is in pieces and we have all of the parts solid drive train, frame. All go devil four cylinder engines. Thanks for your interest. I believe we have at least one title.”

(03/15/2015) No trailer queen here. Looks like an interesting build.
“This old Jeep may not look like much but it will go anywhere from the rocks in Johnson Valley and Truckhaven to the top of the dunes in Glamis. Fresh rebuild on the odd fire Buick 231 V6 turbo with Holley carb. Fresh turbo 350 automatic transmission. T-18 transfer case. Dana 44’s with Detroit Lockers. New Warn Hubs on front end. Full floating rear end with drive flanges. Allied beadlock wheels with BFG MTR’s. On board MaxAir 100% duty cycle compressor. Full custom cage. Included are two sets of sand tires. One set is better than the other with Sand Tires Unlimited 16.50-15 Padla Trak in the rear and 15.0-15 Vari Trak for the front. Lot of extras included like windshield and misc parts.”
No explanation provided for the signatures on the hood’s underside.
