These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Marty spotted this old racer with a f-head. It’s got the old mini-terras, the mismatched rims, patched body panels, and a hole in the hood (who needs a scoop for racing?). Looks like a fun little rig.
“I have a 1944 willys jeep for sale. It ran when parked but has been sitting for 2 yrs. It has an f head 4 cylinder and 4 speed with depend t case wich means you can select front, rear, and 4 wheel drive. The rear end is locked. It was an old race jeep and would take a bit of work to be street legal again. Would be a cool wheeler project. It does have windshield frame not in pic though.”
This includes an inline flathead 6.

This has a MB/GPW Body. The rear axles appear to be military, too.

This is a mix of MB/GPW parts and CJ-2A.
“I have basically a complete 1946 CJ2A that is completely disassembled. I restored a 1943 GPW for a guy and have this parts Jeep leftover. Almost everything is there, but it is a major project or parts for your project. Have an Iowa title, but can not find a VIN on the frame. Usually not a problem with these older Jeeps.”
