(04/09/2011) ‘Emily’ has an interesting history.
“Authentic 1944 Willys Jeep. This Jeep has a lot of history and has won several show awards. It was loaned to French during war. It is not a reproduction.
It is in Excellent Condition and has been kept indoors. this particular willys was used by the french during WWII. stuffed homing Pigeons w/ cages and names, origanal two way radio w/ canvas cover, all trophys stay with emily, which is the name of the jeep. Tow bar made to front bumper, canvas top is in excellent condition. many origanal personel effects like soap, shaving, ready made meals, wine bottles, cot, shovel, original gas mask, origanial back pack and much more.some that can not be mentioned here. very very clean flat head 4”
No motor.
“52 jeep willy’s no motor has 3 speed trans set up for ford small block i also have seats and the tow stinger that are not shown in the pics”
This has a few changes.
“1942 Willys Jeep with clear California Title. This cool little jeep fires right up and runs great. The Willys motor is strong and I have receipts for a new clutch and a rebuild on the original T90 transmission. Master cylinder and wheel cylinders were gone through with new bearings at that time (in 93). The previous owner used it on his ranch for the last 20 years. It was used by a local logging company for several years out in the woods so the pan had some rust issues which they fixed by welding steel plate over top of. The gas tank has been relocated. Speedo and Gauges all work except fuel.
A good project you can drive and enjoy while restoring it, or if you have a jeep already that needs great running gear here you go. Check the pictures and video closely as I am no expert and will not be able to answer any “originality questions”. Thanks and Good Luck. Buyer to pay all shipping costs. Will store here for 30 days.We will load onto your transport and can help with getting a shipper.”

The body lacks tool indents and has the tire mounted like the CJ-1 and CJ-2s. The front clips appears to be MB.

(04/26/2011) This appears to be a GPW with a early CJ-2A grille (rather than being a VEC CJ-2A).
