This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1945 Willys MB for sale. It has a rebuilt motor that runs great, it only has about 15 miles on the new motor. It has all new wiring and it was converted to 12 volt. It has to many new things to list so give me a call and take it for a test drive. I started to restore the jeep but I did not know how much money it would suck up. The jeep is fun to drive but it is not completely original but it could be put back to original if someone had the time and money. I would trade for a nice running 90s toyota mr2 or nissan 300zx or a 3000gt,but it would not hurt to offer any thing all I could say is no”

Greg was watching the Mecum’s auction on TV when this unit popped up for sale. It sold for a hefty price of $28,000. Maybe it was the spotlight that sealed the deal?

This doesn’t look in horrible shape, but it also doesn’t look like it has moved in a while. It appears to have a warn, or equivalent, winch on the front of it.

Dan spotted this one. It doesn’t look too bad.
“This is a 44 Willys MB and is in rough condition. The tub’s straight but rusty, there’s no pass. seat, radiator, or windshield, but there’s still lots of good parts. (axels,trans & T-case, steering box, ect.) The engine’s a non stock F-head and is missing some parts. The frame’s been welded up alot in the front but is decent from the firewall back. You can see it at 312 S. Dishman Rd. (corrner of Dishman & Appleway) or give me a call (ask for Dave) at 509-928-4460…cell 509-991-4573. There is no title.”
