This looks to be a pretty good price.

“So here’s the deal. I bought this 43 willys flat fender from a guy in cave junction about a year and a half ago (10/08 to be exact) for $600 (it was on C.L.), as a project and to use for hunting. When I bought it the motor was out and mostly disassembled, which the motor is a 4cyl. chevy vega eng.. Well when I got it home and aftering ordering all the part’s ($300) and starting to put it back together I found out the block had been dropped at one point, not to mention there was 3 heely coils and 2 stripped bolts. So I got on C.L. and finally found another chevy vega eng. a guy was selling in vancouver Wa.. So I went, checked it out, and bought it ($300). I brought it home rebuilt it and put it in. So it has a rebuilt motor: rings/bearings/water pump/gaskets/etc., orig. 3speed trans. w/ split shift transfer case (I put a new clutch plate in also), Chevy tilt steering column, full roll cage, good tires, with lot’s of tread”

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $799

The body has a tailgate, so I doubt it’s an MB.  It looks more like a parts jeep.

The seller indicates this is an easy restoration.  I’m less sure about that.

“Good candidate for restoration into a very valuable piece of history. Currently selling for $10,000 plus in restored condition, this is an easy restoration. This Jeep is a late production unit and relatively complete, I can not see any rust through and has been an Arizona Jeep since released from the military 66 years ago. The engine is free, witnesses say it was running just before being parked, the sheet metal has some dents and damage but is certainly restorable, parts are readily available, and all four tires hold air. The original lights in front and rear are there including black out drive and park as is the original light switch. The floors are good and the original 6 volt army generator and large regulator are present. The fuel tank is missing as is the back seat frame. I have a few more pictures. Call 520-360-5074”
