Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “My dad used this as a hunting jeep for many years. It needs some work but would be a great project. It has a 289 Ford engine and we have a metal over for the back that is not shown. He also has the title.”

“This is a WWII Willy’s MB. It runs and drives. Original 4 cylinder flathead motor with three speed manual transmission. 4×4 with low and high 2 wheel and 4 wheel drive. The steering has been changed to a Saginaw box from the worm gear. Great project for restoration or 4×4 toy. Clean title.”
Body has been modified on the sides. That’s one scary steering setup!

“75th anniversary of D Day is eleven months away. This 1941 Willys MB will help you celebrate it. Slat grill, triage lites , willys script on body, full floating axle rear, proper motor, trans , transfer case all proto type. Changed in Mar. 42. This is early one. Has mount for machine gun… Starts runs goes . Has way high ratios in axles. 4:88 instead of 5:38. Long legged on street. High low range works. You wouldn’t believe how well it runs. Needs lots of fun work done to bring it back to military specs. Every part I looked for was available on web.”
UPDATE: Looks like these parts sold.
“I have many different items from 3 WWII Willys Army Jeeps. Items have the original stamps and other VIN numbers.
I have old pistons, grill, tailgate, wheels, gauges, etc.
Many parts are in mint condition and still usable! I’ll put “Excellent” as a condition even though it’s from one end of the spectrum to the other, just depending on what suits you”

Could be an early MB chassis.

Looks like a solid jeep with some updates, but it’s not “a well-preserved example of a CJ-2A”. IT may have a military body.

“This is an excellent, well preserved example of a cj2a Willys Jeep. Original Go Devil flathead engine, 3speed t-90 with overdrive! Odometer reads just a few ticks past 20,000 miles. I have three sets of tires for it, and price is negotiable depending on which tires are sold with it. It has a soft top, and doors. I also have a roll bar for it. It comes with a bumper pull hitch so you can flat tow it behind your truck or rv. This jeep is the real deal. It does exactly what it was built to do. I’m about 90% sure the engine has never been taken apart. 12 volt battery.”
