Mike’s has done a bunch of work on this MB. It looks like it might have a GPW frame. Maybe the body is a no-glove-box slat grille?

“This WWII jeep is in AWESOME Shape. NO RUST on frame or body or anywhere else. Purchased this last fall out of Denver. Engine was rebuilt literally a week ago. 2wd and 4wd high/low all work great. Just installed new correct wiring harness. All gauges and lights work including the blackout lights. Has clean MN title in hand. This jeep is going to be an awesome vehicle for someone to enjoy and pass on for generations and use for parades or to drive everyday if you want. It was always my dream to have one of these and I wish I could keep it but unfortunately I can’t. Happy to show it and take you for a ride weather permitting.
Here are some of the improvements I’ve made:
Rebuilt engine
Replaced speedometer cable
Filled all fluids
Replaced thermostat
Replaced thermostat housing gasket
Drained and filled transfer case 150 Miles
Filled transmission with gear oil Continue reading

“Willys with 302 v8 runs needs some work it’s a fun 4×4”
Nick shared this one. The glove box lid looks swapped and the tool box lids are missing. Hasn’t been started in a while.
“You are looking at a RARE 1942 Willeys Script Jeep!! It has been garaged or in a barn since purchase in 1946. Owned only by two owners and has title. It has been painted red by the son when he was in high school so it has the army green underneath the red. As you can see from the pictures it doesn’t have much rust for the age in the pictures the spots that don’t have red is the army green underneath and has all the parts except it needs new canvas for the top. It is the early 1942 Willeys because it has the Willeys stamped on the back of it and the military asked them to stop stamping in the end of 1942. It hasn’t been started for 25 years.”
UPDATE: Price dropped to $3500.
(08/03/2016) Needs a little bit of work. Appears to include the Warn winch. Could be a good jeep for working on and driving (once the brakes are fixed). Has a purpose-built structure for carrying something.
“Can’t bleed the front brakes, no battery other than that everything works”

Hard to tell exactly what’s been added, but one photo shows the dash has been customized.
“1944 willys MB it’s in great condition for the year I drive it around in the summer and it runs great it has the flat head 4cyl and a T90 transmission I put a new feul pump, water pump and brake master cylinder on it everything else works as it should. Before I bought it it was changed over to a 8 volt system and that’s how I left it. The battery was replaced last summer. It’s a fun little Jeep I just don’t use it enough to have asking 5500 OBO thanks for your time’
