This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: I *think* I’ve found a workaround solution, as my main laptop is working once again. If you have 2011 Mac and have vertical lines (as seen below), you likely have a video card problem (aka the AMD graphics chip has failed). There’s a software strategy for working around that which you can find here.
I didn’t get much done yesterday, due to technical difficulties, so updates delayed until Monday. I spent a good deal of time replacing the motherboard on my main laptop, only to find out that the motherboard wasn’t the problem. Sigh. At least I have my 10 year old laptop still (and it still works pretty good).
It appears I will have to use a software hack to make the computer work properly again. So, that’s Sunday’s task….
The screen problems ….
Not good! I may end up purchasing another laptop. We’ll see how things go….

Well, it seems my d @ ewillys.com account is working once more. A hurried look through unread emails suggests that quite a few folks are awaiting responses. I only have 6000 messages to get through, so please be patient.
Just a Few Updates for Thursday. You see, I got so busy puzzling with Ann that I forgot to do the rest of the post. It’s a good way to start the year!
Ann’s mom is in the hospital and, likely, doesn’t have too long to live, so updates might be hit & miss for the next few days.
No updates Monday; updates resume Tuesday morning. There will be updates on Christmas Day so folks with new digital toys can test them out using eWillys 🙂

“Willys–1957 FC 150. Forward Control cab over engine pickup. Rare 4 wheel drive cabover pickup with Buick v-6, T-98 four speed with Warn overdrive and a Koenig PTO winch. Even rarer with no rust issues! One just sold on another website for over $25,000 and it was and original 4 cylinder (75 hp versus 135 hp), only a 3 speed and no winch.
