About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Used 1950s military large parade field speakers with stands, amplifier, 33/45 turntable, microphones, original cables which need new wire, a field radio as from Mash with crank on side and jeep loud speaker.
Also have army footlocker with all cables and attachments inside.
Also have vacuum tubes 2 boxes of around 200 vacuum tubes, fuses etc. to maintain this system.
The speakers will work on most amps or stereos.”
A reader alerted me to a scam ad in Sacramento. The seller, Ms. Lisa Cruz, claims to be selling a nice CJ-5 for only $1600. The reader relayed the following:
I was in contact with the seller yesterday via email to find out what was up with this really nice looking Jeep. She says the low price is correct, I said OK I will buy it. Sent her my name, address, phone, She said eBay will get back to me. Never heard anything back. Then someone calls me this morning on the phone and said lisa gave me my number, He said he has a jeep for sale, a 1969 V-6. Since he has my number he asked to text me photos of jeep. Haven’t got them yet,”
AD TEXT: JEEP for passenger safety.Tailgate is clean and solid, and the wrapped chains hold it firmly in place. There is no sign of rust or rot on the gate inside or outside.Engine bay is just beautiful, and is ready to display at your local cruise night or car show with pride! The JEEP starts with one push of the gas pedal and a turn of the key when cold, and without the single pump when warm. Roger Martin snapped these photos yesterday at the Willys Jeep Rally at Hueston Wood State Park in Ohio. These first pics show Roger’s CJ-2A. His 1947 CJ2A was painted in 1967 and has stayed good all these years. He made the bikini top a few years ago out of a 1951 roll of canvas from the Korean War.
“This Dana 18 came off of a 1957 Willys cj3b. $300 firm. The Overdrive is worth the $300 by itself.

The Kurgane 95 was a 4WD production model car with part-time 4WD, through the use of a transfercase. Production began in 1936, preceding both the Russian GAZ and the BRC/Ford GPs/Willys MA pre-production models, which means it could be considered the first production part-time 4WD vehicle. However, it did not have low range, which was an important attribute of the jeep.
