About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
Somehow the back of the Meyer hardtop is dented. This needs work.
“For sale I have a really rare 1966 cj 6 that has been a Colorado jeep since brand new. From what I was told from the guy I bought it from the city of aspen bought it for snow mass ski area and then it spent its life on the ski slope. It runs actually pretty good it does need a carb rebuild and fuel lines to actually run. The body is in pretty good shape some light rust on the out side of tub but not half as bad as I’ve seen on some newer models both floor boards are gone due to rust. It has the factory hard top and hard doors that need some work but it is there and complete. I have driven it all 3 speeds work as do the 2 speed transfer are clutch seems to have lots of life and the mileage was told to me to be accurate not really wanting to sell the holy grail Jeep I really just don’t have the time it needs to bring it back to glory.”
“L134 go devil engine trans and transfer case. Trans and transfer case we’re rebuilt. Engine needs parts but crank. Have steering column and other engine part, pedals etc. Also have the Dana 25.”
Well folks, sorry for that interruption. The host that manages the eWillys domain failed to renew the name. My attempts to manually and auto renew it this past week failed. It took support to finally get it to work this morning. Since then, I’ve been exchanging emails with the host to explain that their technology is flawed. While they sent emails that included their apologies, they have no good explanation as to why their system didn’t auto renew the domain name. So, there will be another interruption after the holidays when I move the domain name to another host.
“This Kelly top is off of a 1975 CJ5. These metal hardtops were available as dealer add-ons, and this one is in all original and working condition. All glass is there, and all the hand cranks work. The dome light lit when it was taken off. This is a 300 model, which is the top of the line except for the Bonanza. This hardtop would be easy to restore and put on that CJ5 you wanted to show.”
