These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is an ex-British Army Austin Champ. Built in 1954 it served in an ordinance regiment up until 1967 when it was sold off by the queens royal army. Its fairly complete. It is fitted with a Rolls Royce B40 engine that has a full water proofing kit fitted. Its a 5 speed transmission with a selectable high low and reverse tranfercase. Im looking for $2000 or best offer.”
“ENDANGERED SPECIES, 1966 Jeep J3000 Gladiator 4spd 4X4 DUALLY!
All matching numbers engine and trans. Clear VA title from 1976. If you are a Jeep enthusiast, you have got to appreciate the Jeep Gladiators….Tough and Mean. This rare Gladiator is equipped with the original 327 Vigilante 4bbl, 4spd and 4WD. A true work horse. The truck was purchased by a Virginia Beach Fish Market in 1966 and special ordered as a Dually and with the airplane tire option during that era. The original tires are still on the truck with minimum wear.
The classic jeeps from the 60’s are becoming more and more hard to find especially ones that are not completely molested or rusted out.Do your research and you will find that this particular Gladiator is highly collectible and most are in private collections.
I have had this truck for a long time and need to get rolling on other projects. Took me years to find a decent Gladiator worth restoring. The last pic of the complete jeep is not my jeep, just an example.Thank you for looking at my auction!”

Joe in Mesa has been in contact with Alex, who restored a GAZ in Minsk, Republic of Belarus. He’s wondering if there is any interest in buying the GAZ-67 or trading it for a Willys. You can email Alex at xnnn @ tut.by (remove the spaces around the @) if interested.
Here’s what Alex wrote:
“Perhaps you will be interested in the history of GAZ-67, so I quote it in a concise statement. The translation is done using a computer, so there may be inaccuracies. And I’m sending a few pictures. Built in April 1943 in three prototypes, the GAZ-67 successfully passed the army tests and in August was put into production. The first car came off the assembly line on September 23, 1943, and in October a serial production was already set up. GAZ-67 cars took part in the Great Patriotic War mainly at its final stages, when a lot of machines of this type, mainly American ones, were already in the army. However, they also received distribution there (up to 5,000 cars were delivered before May 9, 1945), and even the famous popularity (under the nickname “Ivan-Willys”) as a distinctive, “Russian” model of the car – sturdy, unpretentious, taut and passable. As you know, each car has its own “face”.
The exterior of the GAZ-67 is a stubborn, albeit unkempt, but firmly knocked down car, confidently moving on any roads on its widely spaced wheels. He worked quite reliably, was used in any weather on any terrain, which earned respect for the soldiers.
After the war, the production of the GAZ-67B was preserved and even expanded. He spread all over the country, on the military line, he got abroad, even to Australia, not to mention Eastern Europe, China, and North Korea. Production of it has grown significantly every subsequent year (until 1950). In the spring of 1950, the lightened GAZ-67B successfully landed on Elbrus. When the drifting polar station was organized in the summer of the same year, GAZ-67B was abandoned on the plane, effectively and for a long time working on the ice as a transport vehicle and tractor. The first parachute dropping from the aircraft was also carried out on the GAZ-67B back in 1949.
GAZ-67B was produced for a long time, until the end of August 1953. In total, over 10 years they were built 92843″
Looks like this project didn’t quite work out. At least it is priced reasonably. It even runs and drives? The tailgate might be worth the price (but probably not the hassle)?

Brian shared this post from the AACA site that shared information about an IH Scout toy, a dealer promo that was given away or sold. I’ve never seen that toy, but I was also never around Scouts much either.

“Has full seat assembly and engine cage, they just aren’t pictured. Mostly restored, just needs some seal work but the seals come in a box of extras included. Slow leak so I haven’t worried about it. Runs great, got the fuel tank cleaned out, new fuel hose. Magneto was redone when I bought it and new plugs. New tires and Optima deep cycle battery. Runs great and drives great. Aluminum body with magnesium wheels. Original data plates. Full time 4 wheel drive and full time 4 wheel steer. Trades possible but cash is king. Partial trades considered as well”

“f Jeep would have started building these in the 70s, they would have never had financial issues. Look at this rare piece.The Jeep was built using all CJ5 parts. The front door is modeled off of a CJ7. The rear door is modeled off of a CJ5.
The bed is extended to the length of a CJ6 or CJ8 Scrambler. The frame is stretched 36 inches in the middle and 14 inches behind the rear axle. The frame was boxed from the front to the rear spring perches. It has Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles (both are open diffs). The transfer case is a Dana 20. The transmission is a 3 speed. I believe it is a T150.
The engine is an AMC 360 from a 1972 Wagoneer. It was rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. It was bored over. The crank was turned. It got all new bearings, new pistons, new valve guides, and hardened seats. It has an RV cam, an Edelbrock SP2P low rise dual plane intake, and a Holley Street Avenger 570cfm double pumper carb. Skip White electronic ignition/distributor. Warn 8274 Winch. Heavy duty steel front fenders. (Matching Rescue Green CJ5 OEM fenders also included.) Rear corner guards. The motor has more than enough power for a vehicle this size.
