About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
(07/26/2013) This is pretty rough. Hard to get inexpensive parts for these.

They were made in the uk so there is only a handfull in the us
It has a rolls royce 4 cyl mk2
And a 5 speed transmission
5 forward gears and 5 reverse gears, goes same speed in reverse as driving
This is a pretty rough unit, but does have great potential
It has flat tires
Does not run but motor is free, it has a 24v system
Has gun holsters, shovel bracket, pick ax bracket
You wont find to many of these around here
Not in any hurry to sell, the value is going up daily on this item
Restored ones can bring up to 50k”
I don’t know what these are worth, but it’s pretty neat.
“Up for sale is an amazing example original Land Rover Series 1 was designed by Maurice Wilks and launched by the Rover Company of Solihull on 30th April 1948. It had an 80inch wheelbase and a sturdy box section ladder-frame chassis. The open back with 3 seats in the front design was heavily influenced by the American World War. The Land Rover quickly became popular, the wheelbase was extended during the Series one production to give the vehicle a greater load capacity. Originally produced with a 1600cc Petrol engine, Land Rover replaced this with the larger 2.0 litre petrol engine which was fitted between 1951 and 1958.
“1979 Mitsubishi Jeep J54 with the 2650 cc Diesel motor. This is a one of a kind in Canada
Willys Style Jeep from Japan It is in fantastic condition for the year and a perfect candidate for
Collector plate. It is super clean with a rust free body and great paint.
It Has a solid axle front end and it will go virtually any where.”
Doug sent in this early Jeepney photograph from the Philippines. This sure looks like an original Jeepney built on a MB/GPW chassis. It’s got some style!
“This is a rare 1959 m274 mule, it was made by willys. It has a true NOS(new old stock) 2 cylinder engine(not a converted generator, like some)with under 8 hours on it. The transmission has just been gone through and rebuilt by a professional mule transmission specialist. Has high and low gears. It runs like new, cause it basically is. It has 4 wheel steering and a light weight magnesium deck. It has new electric starter, battery and alt, to run lights(forward and rear) and 12 volt car charger(to charge gps or cell phone). Im using a 50cal waterproof box to house the starting key, light switches, and 12 volt charger. Under the frame, next to battery is a bracket that holds 2 like new 50 cal boxes. Mules only came with one drivers seat so I added a second seat and basket. Has metal canister holding bracket for water or fuel container. Brand new tires, new stainless steel gas tank. Seats are not original, they are the more comfortable, adjustable(seat slides forward and back wards to fit a tall or short driver) high-back military m35 seats that have been reupholstered. It has half inch rubber mat on top of the deck to keep paint from getting scratched or chipped. It has a black water proof box under the deck-next to the battery that holds all the electrical connections and keeps them safe and dry.Has a new data plate. This mule is in great shape. I built it for myself to keep, but I’m moving and have no safe place to keep it. There are not many of these machines left, and they continue to increase there value every year.”
“1977 Jeep Mitsubishi, in original condition and excellent shape. The top is immaculate, the interior in excellent shape and no rust, dents, or scratches. The tires are cracked because they are from 1977, they are the OME.
There are no leaks, it does not need anything mechanically either. Everything is functional on this jeep. The original tools and Owners Manual are included in the sale. It is registered in British Columbia Canada. This Jeep is unique and in unbelievable condition, springs and other components have no rust and the body/tub is rust free as well.
This jeep was always garaged, never driven in snow, never offroaded. The plastic top windows are clear and in excellent shape, the top frame is mint and complete.
It has High/Low, 4×4 & 4×2 Tranny & Transfer case that work flawless
Has a posi-trac rear end.
The fuel economy is exceptional. (Approx. 25-30 MPG 2×2) (In 4×4 & extreme conditions less)
Basically this is a CJ3B body with far better running gear, motor, power, heating system, with defrosters, that the early Willy’s with the overhead cam hurricane motors just did not have
Everything works on this Jeep – Radio, Turn signals, everything. Being a 100HP, it is REALLY snappy and it is a 4-speed and will cruise effortlessly at 60-65MPH without overdrive and without Warn locking hubs, which can be installed.
The master cylinder brake system, helps the truck brake much safer than older jeeps. The heater works perfect and makes this truck usable in winter months. This truck is much easier and safer to drive than the older CJ2 Cj3.”
“A no expense spared, ground up restoration. Everything is new from top to bottom with better than new panel gaps, paint and general fit & finish. This Jeep has only a handful of miles since completion.”
