1943 Ford Burma Truck Denver, Co eBay

• CATEGORIES: Other 4x4s, Unusual • TAGS: This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

Greg spotted this old Burma up for auction in Denver.  There’s something about the placement of the headlights that makes me think these vehicles appear hunched over in some way, ready to bear their load.

“1943 Ford Burma Jeep.  Unrestored as shown.  Stored at least 10 years, either driveline or engine, or both siezed or locked up from non-use, so expect motor and driveline restoration is also needed.  Does not run or drive. Rust on stake bed areas, as shown.

“US Navy” marked on the engine cover data plate, Also visible is “149958” which is the title VIN number, and other number appears to be “90148”, but not guaranteed.  Other data plates are nearly illegible, sorry.

Sold with title, SALVAGE Colorado Title.  Vehicle was used off road on a mountain property for many years, and was not driven the last several years.  It was easier to replace a long lost title as a salvage vehicle, otherwise the vehicle would have had to be brought into running/driving condition and submitted for inspections, etc.  So for now the vehicle is not intended for registered highway use in Colorado, until the new owner brings it into running/driving condition, meets any other guidelines necessary, and applies for previously salvage title.  Please check with your local authorities if you intend to restore and/or make road worthy for public roads, or if any inspections or other procedures would be required.”

1967 Datsun Patrol Reno, NV **SOLD**

• CATEGORIES: Other 4x4s This site contains affiliate links for which I may be compensated.

UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1200

I know nothing about these.  However, a quick search seems to confirm the seller’s information.  Moreover, this appears to be a good price for a rather rare rig.

“Selling my 1967 Datsun/Nissan Patrol. If you do a little research on this only around 2,600 of these awesome 4×4’s were imported throughout the mid 1960’s and here is one of the rarest. Most of the Patrols brought into the U.S. were badged as Nissans, but this is badged as a Datsun. It is completely original with the original 6cyl and manual transmission. Has a folding windshield and a rare removable hardtop. It is a project vehicle but is mostly complete except for the front seats and rear window glass, I do know someone with the front seats I can connect you with. It is not running at this point but the motor does turn over. Truck needs some TLC and you would have a very unique 4×4 unlike any you see out on the trails.”
