This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The top might not have much value, but the MB/GPW body in the background appears to have some value. I don’t know if it is for sale, but might be worth asking.

Most of these I run across on Craigslist aren’t in this good of shape.

Looks like a nice hardtop. I like the carrier mounted on top. Not sure if this is a 2A or 3A top. Is it a worman? or steel sears top?
“I have a hardtop for a Willys for sale. It is in amazing condition. I originally purchased it for my GPW and didn’t realize I needed the taller windshield. This is for the CJ2a and 3a taller windshields.
It is complete with all pieces.”

Needs a couple pieces of glass.
“Koenig model 330 hard top with doors, real clean shape, no rust,super clean inside, fits cj flat fender jeeps, missing 1 side glass in cab , missing 1 door glass, doors have latches, handles and regulaters, back glass is broke, has rear latch assembley, missing outter handle, call for more info,”
Looks like it fits a CJ-5/6.

It’s got some dings.
“I have for sale on aluminum hard top for an early flat fender Jeep. World War 2 era cj2a cj3a Jeep made by Allstate, Sears and Roebuck. Includes the doors, slides and back lift area. Just needs new plexi-glass and some minor straightening out of some of the panels. A hole in the top right passenger side is the worse spot.”

Seller admits he doesn’t know what it is worth.
“I have a custom top for a willys jeep its an aluminum top with doors hard shell i dont lnow really how much to sell it for lets say $800 or make an offer i dont want it.”

“I have for sale a nice, solid, straight and rust free rolling chassis from a 1955 Jeep M38A-1. Included as part of the chassis are original Dana 44 & 25 axle assemblies with 5.38 gear ratios and open differentials, suspension, some steering linkage and good steel brake lines. The OEM wheels/tires are NOT INCLUDED so arrangements would need to be made. Also included is an original M38A-1 tub which has been media blasted and bare metal, (it is useable but requires repair primarily in the floor area), original T90/Spicer 18 transmission/transfer case assembly, T90/Spicer 20 transmission/transfer case assembly with SB Chevy transmission adapter, OEM M38A-1 driveshafts, nice early CJ-5 hood and grill.”

This Roper is different than others I’ve seen or documented. Maybe it was primarily sold to tractors?
“1940’s Roper Iron Works pto post hole digger for Willy’s Jeep or tractor in good condition. Appears to be complete and comes with auger, may have two others. Turns smooth and freely. Located about 30 miles north of Lake Havasu City”
