Hank writes, “I bought a jeep five or so years ago and I am finally getting around to get her running. I was just wondering if anybody out in the jeep world has ever seen this set up before. I believe the rear is a Dana 44, but it has about 4″ extensions on it to make room for the duel wheels. I am looking for another set of rims. They are 16″ split rim with five holes. I am thinking they came off of a FC but am not sure.”
Glenn pointed out this rare part for sale on eBay.
“THIS AUCTION IS FOR A NOS WINDSHEILD SEAL GASKET FOR THE CJ3B CJ5 CJ6 WITH FOLD OUT FRONT WINDSHEILD I FOUND IN WITH A BUNCH OF OLD NOS WILLYS JEEP PARTS I BOUGHT A WHILE BACK
FROM THE RESEARCH I DID ON LINE IT SOUNDS LIKE THIS IS THE OEM REPLACMENT SEAL FOR THE CJ5 CJ6 MILITARY AND EXPORTED JEEPS THAT HAD THE FOLD OUT WINDSHEILD INNER FRAME AND I ALSO READ IT CAN BE MODIFIED (SHORTENED) TO WORK ON THE EXPORT MODEL CJ3B MODELS
PLEASE DO YOUR HOME WORK AS THIS IS SOLD AS IS WITH OUT ANY RETURNS
I KNOW THIS HAS TO BE A HARD TO FIND PART FOR SOME ONE WITH ONE OF STYLES OF WINDSHEILF FRAME
PLEASE LOOK AT PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING”

“I am selling a self assembly aluminum jeep top. It went on a 1946 Willy’s CJ2 Jeep. The sticker on the inside of the jeep top says – Allstate Jeep Body, Model Number 73461111, Sears, Roebuck, and Co. It is $700 or best offer.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $300
“1944 Willys tub, ACM serial number 168246, can be used for a restoration or for panel parts.
No title with this, parts only. I think it is a restorable body, all needed panels can be bought new.
Asking $300”
Looks like a good price.
“This is a CJ soft top made by bestop. Have the top , doors , frame and hardware. Windows are all good. I bought it last year, but it would not fit on my 42 jeep. I’m guessing it’ll fit earlier models 1940 and 50’s CJ2A. $250.00.”
Marc spotted this interesting item.
“You are bidding only on the steering assembly that came of the Willys MA prototype jeep in the 79xxx range. I’ve had these for about five years. One of the brake line shields has a GPW marking on it. Please do your research and ask all questions before bidding.”
