This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. You’ll note in the top left pic that the door looks dented. Apparently, that’s actually part of the design. You can learn more about the Civilian Arctic Top on the CJ-3B Page.

I have this chrome scattershield I doubt I’ll be using. There weren’t many made, so it is an unusual piece.

“Not too long ago I purchased a 1943 Ford GPW Jeep and it came with this hardtop already on it. I got it from a farm in eastern Washington near Yakima and was used as a cold weather top. Since I am in the process in restoring the Jeep, I’m not going to put the hardtop back on my Jeep, so it has to go! The top is from a late 1920’s to early 1930’s Ford, Chevy, Dodge or Buick. It has suicide doors, original rear view mirror and a windshield wiper motor (see photos). The body is sliver in color with red primer in places. It has a hole in the roof which is covered by a plywood board, which that whole area would have been cloth at one time. The windows on the doors are plexiglass and the rest of the glass windows are cracked bedsides the one on the driver’s side. Very restorable with minimal rust and no bad cancer areas.”
