Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Rolling chasis as shown $250 loaded on your hauler, Usable frame -$100, Front or Rear Axles- $100 each, F-134 & l-134 engine- $100 each, Radiator – $100, Transfer case $100, little pieces, much already disassembled, if you are building a flat fender CJ2A, CJ3A, CJ3B (1945-1964) you should come by to pick my bones before snow comes. Some parts may fit other models. Got some nice Driver Quality WILLYS ( AERO) too if you don’t want to build yourself. Willys Jeep Special Equipment stash. Seller indicates this would fit a 2A, but it would do so poorly. The top is disassembled and a little rough, but the price seems good.

“Jeep hard top which needs restored. Pretty solid and all the glass is in it. Have metal doors to go with it but need restored as well. The door glass is there. The top and doors were disassembled to restore but got a different top, so did not finish the restore. This is a FCFS and no holding. If it is listed then it is available and when it is sold it will be marked sold. I believe this top is for an older jeep CJ5 but will fit others. I have had it on my CJ5 but I am sure it will fit a CJ2a as well.”
Glenn shared this front frame and axle that includes some Perfect Circle Hubs. Perfect Circle was a longtime piston ring company bought by the Dana Corp in 1963. Dana had tried marketing the HubLok hubs, but likely switched to selling these private labeled Dualmatic/Selectro hubs after the merger. “Hy Lo Jeep Snow Plow parts removed from a CJ3A Jeep but may fit other models. Most everything except the blade. The hydraulic cylinder would move up and down before we removed it and other than that we know very little about these. $150 Pick up in Western NC Unable to ship.”

“I have three complete Koenig Model 330 steel full hard tops for sale. They all fit CJ2A’s. Normal wear and tear for 70+ yr old Jeep tops. Only rust through are minimal spots on a couple of the sections that bolt to the tub. Two exterior door handles missing. All interior window mechanisms complete and present. The black top has rare rear ambulance doors.
Buyer could piece together a fantastic top simply by mixing and matching panels from each top or with even a hint of metal working skill could easily restore all three tops and sell for a healthy profit.
Would like to sell all three as a package deal. Buyer must collect but can help with loading. Please note the tops are just tacked together and on uneven ground for display purposes only.
$1,200 cash. Price is firm. Located in Asheville, NC.”

Dave wrote, “I was driving my GPW here in town a few months ago when a lady stopped me. She asked if I’d like to take from her a WW2 jeep hardtop. I took her up on the offer to view it, knowing such a thing didn’t exist. She lives over in Ben Lomond and was going to scrap it at the dump, so I rescued it from her. I know next to nothing about these post war hardtops, but figured you’d be a great person to contact. There are no data plate or markings that I can find. It’s thin gauge but very well made. Half-tops, or pickup tops, we used to call these. Plexiglass is still in one door. I like the hooked stops welded inside the door to rest the glass in different open positions. It’s dirty, with peeling paint, but very salvageable.”
It does not appear to have the doors.
