These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Will trade for cj2a drivers seat frame and rear bench seat frame Willys cj2a jeep top. I think it was made and sold by Sears. Pretty decent shape , includes doors. Does have some old repairs but sturdy .I’m only selling because I found another top.”

“This just came off my 1962 Willys Jeep FC. Truck is NOT for sale. It could be installed on something else I suppose. It was installed On the Jeep at the Cleveland, Ohio Willys Overland Factory and the original owner drove it to Twain Harte the story goes. It is a neat piece. It is 9 feet long with the wheel well 71- 72 in on center from the front. It’s width is 74 1/2. It is44 in tall It has three big boxes per side with some rust in the bottom. I can’t remember seeing any rust through. It has a huge (32 in tall by 4 feet wide) covered compartment in the center with a sliding lid plus a tailgate. The rack is off of it and Unbolted in pieces. The rack can be thrown in. I don’t need to sell it just could use the space. I am firm in the price as I think it is fair.”
I’m not sure which half top this was. Maybe the doors are original to some hardtop, but the half-top itself is custom?

“Vintage Willys CJ2A Half cab top & doors. This came with a project Willys & I will not be using it. Typical rust, doors have broken glass & will need some repairs. Cab is open in the back. Missing door hinges that bolt to the body. Not sure if this will fit older military versions, but for sure fits the 1945 1946 1947 1948 CJ2A.”

This seller has a half and a full top for sale. He’s calling the white full top a Meyer hardtop, but it looks to be an aluminum Deluxe Sears top ($400). The other one is a sears half aluminum top ($325). Both of these tops appear in this vintage Sears ad from the CJ-3B page.
“Aluminum Willys jeep tops. These are 2A/3A tops. Both are in great shape. I decided to go another direction.
1. Meyers Industries full cab and doors. Glass is good in the top but it needs new glass for one of the doors. Rear hatch opens and handles are present. $325.00 
2. Sears deluxe half cab and doors. It has been disassembled and stripped to bare aluminum. I have the hardware to put it back together. It has the side mirror, door handles, and working lock with keys. Windows are plexiglass and could use some cleanup but are usable. I do have the rear panel with window that’s not in the picture. It wasn’t needed to test fit the top. $400.00″
These are resold so infrequently that I don’t know what the value of these are.

Has some light rust, but appears solid.

Full metal hard top with full metal doors and hinges. Glass roll up windows in doors and glass windows in hard top
Some rust, some tweaks, small dents and bends. Mostly decent condition.

(03/31/2020) Another M-38 Fording Kit for sale (one was just sold out of NY).
“Willys – Jeep M-38, Military Korean Jeep, new old stock ( NOS ); Very rare Deep water fording kit still in the original crate after all these years. I have just opened the original crate and Will Ship without crate for an additional $75.00 in the lower USA. The tail pipe is inside the intake tube still undisturbed. The outside of the intake tube is weather checked, as these creates are original and were unopened for al, these years. I Have only one left as I sold the other two. As mentioned I Will ship the contents of a open crates to the lower US States for an additional $75.00 but prefer local pick-up..”
