This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Steve spotted these Willys parts for sale. Neither of us had seen the Willys-Overland tubes. The parts are located in Canada.

“A few parts in original boxes. 2 Inlet Valves and 1 Exhaust. 1 Bell crank and 2 hoses and 3 lug nuts. Sold as is. Item is located and will be shipped from Canada. Canada Post is very expensive and there is nothing I can do about that. Shipping quote is for North America. Foreign is extra. Buyer pays $12 shipping to US and $14 in Canada. Combine on shipping where possible.”
Looks like a complete body kit (seller doesn’t mention the hood, but it is there in two pics, so it may be included).

“Brand new reproduction body. Bought new for a project and decided to go another direction with our build. Includes new tub, windshield frame, grille shell, two new front fenders, spare tire mount and rear bumperetts. Cost us 3500 a few years ago asking 3000 but will entertain reasonable offers.”

As the seller notes, it’s rough.
“Body tub off of a 1948 Willys CJ2A Jeep. This particular Jeep was a “lefty” which was only made for a short time. The spare tire is on the drivers side and the top bow holders are on the passenger side. However that is the only difference and this body will fit any year CJ2A. It is in rough shape but a good starting point if you don’t have one or if you are looking to customize one. Pictures reflect condition. Asking $400 obo. Would also consider trading for other early Jeep parts.”

Frank’s selling this Tornado engine.
“This is a 230 taken from a 1964 Wagon to swap in a Chevy. it is clean and complete. Been stored inside since,I was told that it did smoke if let to idle for a period. (Valve seals?)
Has starter,generator and oil bath air cleaner.”
This might have a ding, but otherwise is a great price. I’m just not sure what it fits. Seller won’t ship.
