Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “New reproduction Willy’s CJ-2A body tub. The previous owner attempted to mount the tub onto a CJ-3A frame and therefore drilled and cut holes in the floorpans / dash to try and make everything work. (CJ3A frame is longer than a CJ2A) Go check the price of a new reproduction body tub (plus what it costs to ship) and then come buy mine. $1500 obo. Other Willys parts available, specifically early CJ’s stuff.”
This rare head is currently available on eBay. It’s priced at $5000. Neat part, but I don’t see it selling at that price any time soon.

“Up for sale is an ultra rare Kaiser/Willys Edmunds aluminum finned cylinder head for the 226 engine. You may not see another one of these, there aren’t many around. There also weren’t many performance parts produced for the 226 engine. I can’t say this is an NOS part, but it is very clean and appears to be unused. Being sold as is, but is in incredibly nice condition for its age.”

This looks to be a good price. There are similar Bobcat-style wide-lipped versions of this body, but the steps were different. So, I’m not sure who the manufacturer of this body was.

Looks like a good price. Seller has a Ramsey PTO and CJ-5 cage (won’t fit flat fenders) for sale, too.

Maury shared this rare Capstan winch for sale. Note that the original lever to the side of the capstan winch has been moved and improvised. The data plate has beed removed. Seller has some stuff for sale, including new rims and a late WWII head. Seller is also giving away an inner frame for a CJ-2A windshield.

“Lots of 24V parts for an M38A1. Restoring my 1962 M38A1 and converted it to 12v and have lots of parts that I no longer need. Also many non-electrical parts as well. Starters, fuel pumps, generator w/regulator and harness, distributor w/ spark plug wires and plugs, gas heater for inside heat, rear axle housing and parts, headlights, radiator for M151, wiper motor, fuel tank, etc. Contact for complete list of items. All parts usable as far as I know. Items to be sold as one lot, as is. Will consider trade for M100/M416 trailer in good shape.”
