This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. UPDATE: The body is sold. The Monroe lift, all related lift parts, gearbox with pulley,governor,chaff screens,PTO guard, and shaft shield and drivers heater are all SOLD.

“I have an original radiator for sale out of my M38A1. There is a pinhole leak in the radiator core. Mine is too far from original condition for OEM parts to matter, so I put an aftermarket in it. Thought someone might need it for a restore.
I also have a complete and fully functional Spicer PTO I am removing from it that I want to sell. No pics yet as I have to remove it still.”

“-Original jeep cj3a windshield frame with glass. original with vent. has dings, little to no rust. 450.00
-Jeep cj2a, 3a, 3b tail gate. after market. never painted. in box, no script. excellent condition. $150
-jeep cj2a, 3a fiberglass hood. old and in good shape. never painted, no script. $150
-Jeep cj roll bar out of cj 2a will fit all early models. no rust, excellent condition. $250
-4-wheels and tires. tires are 98% new and look to be never used but to roll old jeep around on. 32″x 11.50″x 15″ sidewinder radial all terrains load range C, little to no dry rot. Mounted on 15″ x 10″ aluminum turbine wheels in good shape with 5 on 5.5″ bolt pattern which fits all Jeep cj’s, Ford 1/2 ton trucks, bronco’s, some Dodges, etc. Lug nuts included. Will trade for original style jeep cj2a steel wheels which are 16″ x 5.75″ wide. looking for all 5 wheels in good usable condition. other wise $550.00 for wheels and tires and will not separate.

“Why spend over a grand for a hard top, doors, and hatch when you can scrape and paint this one for far less?
Glass is good. Metal is sound. Paint and trim…. well, you drive a CJ5 so we know you don’t mind a little labor of love.
I believe the maker was Kelley, the model is a Bonanza III. Supposed to fit CJ5, judging from the door hinges this may be for the ’72 and later year models.
Cab, both doors, and rear hatch, probably with less rust than your Jeep’s body if you drive it in NY, asking $400. Negotiable if you’re not a lowballer. Nobody likes lowballers.”

“This is an all-steel vintage Koenig hard top and doors for an early CJ5. I bought this hard top set a couple of years ago (?) with the grandest and noblest of intentions of restoring and modifying it to fit my 1974 CJ5. Spoiler Alert: I haven’t touched it and I’m not going to. I don’t know what year exactly, but the doors won’t fit my ’74 without modifying the hinges, as they won’t align. (See last photo) Most of the glass is there, but it needs a full restoration. These are getting harder and harder to find that haven’t completely rotted away or lost all of it’s glass.”

“134 cu in L head (flathead) out of a 1948 CJ2A. The motor is disassembled and has been checked out by a machine shop. The bore is currently .060 over, crank mains are .030 and the rod journals are .010. The block and head have been dipped and painted. I took two motors to the machine shop and had them pick the best parts to rebuild one motor. The leftovers are all usable. Motor still has to be rebuilt. Motor block with head, crank, cam and piston rods, oil pan, flywheel, manifolds, water pump, fan, and what you see in the picture.May trade, need a Weber carburetor.”

“I have a parts lot of M38a1 parts which also fit the M170 ambulance. The floor panels are new but a little dirty from sitting. What you see spread out in front of the camera is included. No, not the M416 tub or frame or new tires etc. Just the M38a1 parts. Lots of parts, some new, most old. dash boards, sheet metal parts, distributor, plugs etc. All one lot all one price. Not separating into individual parts. I can ship if you want to do all the arranging (Fastenal) and pay me up front, first. Not shipping other than that, so don’t ask.”
