This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “These are road ready and hunting season is just around the corner. 4 new Hercules HDT 7.00×15LT on 15 inch jeep wheels. These came off of a 1942 jeep but will fit other years and models of jeeps.”

Not a bad price for these rims.
“Four American Racing wheels, 15×10, 5×5.5 bolt pattern, 4″ back spacing, 4.25″ hub centric diameter. Minor cosmetic damage, wheels are straight.”
UPDATE: Was $150. Status Unknown.
“These rims came off a 1970’s Ford van with a wide five lug bolt pattern. They will fit other year Dodge/Ford trucks.vans.Ramchargers. The tires have good traction with some dry rot. Tire size is 31×10.50 R15 LT. I also found all the lug nuts. Measuraments are 5 1/2 center holes on five lug bolt pattern.”
UPDATE: It seems this company is no longer offering this tire:
A company called Tire Recappers out of Nashville produce and sell these recapped mini-terror-like tires. Buy four tires and they ship for free. Anyone have experience with them?

They aren’t pristine, but looks like a good price.
“Turbine aluminum rims (only) fits 1/2 ton ford or Jeep CJ. 5X5.5 bolt pattern/10X15 – metal filler valves. Had tires removed 6/28. Some pitting as shown in pictures – $100/set OBO”

The tires still have some life left. Looks like a good price.
“4 Jeep Wrangler Hurricane wheels with 31X1050X15 ” tires. First $150.00 buys them. $ new centers with wheels. These wheels and tires will also fit a Ford Truck or full size Bronco. I ran these on a Bronco and removed to sell. The Bronco is for sale also and is posted separately. “

Marty spotted these Terras in good shape. Obviously the wrong bolt pattern for old jeeps, but the tires looks good.

I don’t see this in the West as much as the East.
“I have a nice set of 4 Hurricane, Cyclone, turbine wheels.. what ever you want to call them..! they are 15×8.5 with 3-3.5″ back space.. pattern is 5 on 5.5.. fits Jeep CJ, early Ford and Dodge.”
