This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Adrian provided some details on a 1/3 scale jeep model he built from Toylander plans. He bought the plans in 2008.

The jeep now pictured on the Toylander website appears to be an improved version, as Toylander’s MB43 looks like it is more jeep-like. Prices vary depending on how complete you want the jeep to be.

“Post-WW2 West Craft (Al-Toy) heavy cast aluminum toys are incredibly rare and valuable. Parts are impossible to find. I bought these 1-3/4” wheels, but actually need just two size 2’-1/2” plus an axle. They are for a standard Willy’s Jeep.”

“Metal Army Jeep. In good condition! 12″ long X 5″ wide. All is metal except for the plastic tires.”
This plastic toy is priced at $25. This is the closest toy I’ve seen to a CJ-2 (grille, windshield, mid-mounted tire, tailgate, no glovebox.
