Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. This must not have been in the Sears Toy Catalog, because I would have circled this as a kid. It includes three jeeps!

According to the description, you can cast your own jeeps. No examples of how good (or poor) they are.
“ You are bidding on a Formex 7 casting set made by Emenee. This casting set is a create your own casting set featuring “Military Company” including soldiers, jeeps, and cannons. My research shows that this set dates back to 1964. This is a used set as the items are not in their original package and some of the molds have been used.”
I don’t see these with the box too often.

When I was a kid I drug one of these all over our property.
“Here is a vintage lot of three, vintage Tonka red DUNE BUGGIES from the early 1970’s. Made of steel.
Not mint, but good condition given their age. They measure about 10 inches long by 8 inches wide. All the tires spin freely and have their nut caps on the wheels. All have their stickers. All have their steering wheels. One is missing a headlight and that one has some paint wear and sticker/label peeling”

Here’s a good looking combo. The searchlight works, too!
“This auction is for a vintage 1957 Marx Willy’s Army Jeep with Search Light all pressed steel toy. This toy didn’t see much play time; it is in near mint condition with no RUST. The search light does still work and the steering wheel is still present. Size: Jeep 11″, Trailer 12½”, Searchlight 4½” diameter. If you’re a G.I. Joe collector or just a pressed steel toy collector, this piece should be on your shelf. Great Christmas Gift!!”

This is the first I’ve seen one of these.
“vintage (late 60’s, early 70’s) illco toy battery operated army turret jeep, multi action with real ‘ack-ack’ sound machine gun, tested but not working consistently (maybe a loose wire connection, typical for these kind of vintage toys, battery compartment clean), measures about 10.5″ long, comes with original box that is in great condition with very little wear, great display piece. This piece is beautiful and looks brand new. I have not seen many like it and it would make a great addition to a collection. Bid with confidence, I only sell high quality vintage items.”

“Andy Gard Toys are rare to begin with. Gee-I-Jeep with Box. One of the first remote control cars on the market. Orginial box. The later models had a steering wheel on the controller. I tried a couple of D batteries but could not get it to work. It may be a simple wire fix? The windshield has broken off but is included and maybe able to be glued back on? This is a very rare plastic toy in this condition and the box makes it so collectable.”
