Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a 1951 willys pickup that I bought approximately 5 years ago and have been working on it ever since. It runs great and absolutely no problems. It is a blast to drive but do not have to sell but just seeing the kind of offers I can get. Here is a list of the things that have been done to it. These are just the things that I can list off the top of my head and I am sure that I have missed a few things.

This in-person-auction takes place January 7, 2014, in Meredosia, IL. The truck may make a good restoration project. Looks like it has been stored quite a while.

“dont have alot of info on it but we bought it as a project and never got around to working on it. its been sitting in covered storage for the last ten years or so. the bed of it is filled with spare parts. i dont know what all is in there and have not gone through it. it has been converted to fit a V8. does not run. if you buy it for full price i will deliver it in the portland metro area for free.
