“1951 Willys Pickup
4×4 385 HP Chevy 350
Ford 9 in. ps pb”
UPDATE: Was $4000. **SOLD**
Dan spotted this truck.
“For sale is a 1956 Willys Jeep Truck: runs and drives, mechanically sound. Upgraded to 12 volts, with original gauges running on 6 volt regulator. All gauges function perfectly. Four wheel drive works. Original straight-six engine starts and runs like a charm. Original drivetrain. New all-terrain tires; only six months/600 miles.
The bed is rusted through in places, and the floorboards have some small rust holes, but the body is in otherwise good condition: the fenders are a rare commodity, and are all in good shape.
This had been my daily driver for the last few months, but I’m bicycling to work these days. Asking $4000 or best offer. I’ll gladly throw in any spare parts I’ve got, including the set of original rims.”
Looks like a nice truck.

This looks like a good restoration candidate.
“It was stored for the last 40 years in a garage and used sparingly to plow a long driveway. The short story is; This vehicle was 1 family owned from new and is totally unmolested, except for the plow. 62,000 original miles. Everything works including all gauges, (even gas gauge!). The originality is mind blowing with even the old rubber Willy’s floor mats and seat covers present, (albeit a bit worn). Vehicle starts right up, runs and stops, with the only issue a gummed up carburetor, due to today’s “corn gas”. Simple solution of cleaning and a carb kit. Runs now with choke partially on, smoothly. Vehicle is original gray paint with some primer over the worn areas. Frame is rock solid and all panels are original with very little rust and no bondo evident. An awesome truck to either rat rod as is, (with a bit of tinkering), or restore to a real head turner of great value. How many do you see at your local car shows? (More info on eBay)”
This runs and drives. Starting bid $1000.
“Selling my running and driving 1956 willys. Was sitting and now runs and drives and shifts and stops. Has and older restoration but now needs an new fender installed which I have and paint. Hurricane super flat 6 with only 27k original miles. Numbers matching and starts on the first try every time. Come with various replacement parts and, two extra fenders and bumper brackets. Title in hand call Paul with any questions 9736681338”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $3000.
(06/16/2012) Looks like a nice little truck. The driver’s side window is plexiglass. It appears to need wipers.
“For sale- no trades is a 1961 Willys Jeep 4×4 or 4wd that runs. Appears to have all original running gear. Brakes work, engine runs, drives. It has a working pto Braden winch. I have a clean/clear Calif. title in my name at my address. No issues at all with title. I’ve done alot of work around it but it still needs more. It is on a current non op- tags and insurance prior to movement on hwy. I’m selling it because I have another older one to work on. I don’t need two of them.
Six cylinder Hurricane 226 L6, 3 speed with Hi’Low, winch. Single piece windshield, radiator holds water, heater works, all glass intact (drivers side is plexiglass), doors shut good, engine starts good, tranny works, pto winch works, flat bed. Lights work.
Basically a lot of things are going for it but it still needs more attention. I painted it so it will show well when the wife sees it but it will also require some body work after it gets road worthy.. Doesn’t cost you to look ‘cept for gas.”
Oscar forwarded this from a Swedish site. He tried to get some better pictures, but didn’t have any luck. It’s an interesting truck.
“It’s a modified wagon for fire fighting original from 1957 which was used in southern Sweden. Has all hoses and controls, 125,000 miles. Price is 25,000 kronor which is $3,800.”
