Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “’55 Willys truck 4×4 complete. Have taken it totaly apart and was getting ready to restore. Frame has been cleaned and primered. Several new suspension parts purchased. Shackels, bushings, u-bolts. L6-226 engine, stock 4 speed trans, complete suspension”

“1948 willys 4×4 p/u with hydraulic 2 way plow with dump box. previous owner installed 6cyl f-head motor. i just replaced plow pump and up/down valve. wheel cylinders just rebuilt and master cyl replaced. technically, this does plow snow (and some b/s artists might say it plows great)………this is a project. i did a bunch of stuff on it and would like to pass it on to someone who will pick up the ball and do more stuff on it. this is a project. UNDERSTAND, this needs work to be in “good condition for it’s age”, {an extremely overused phrase). call for more info and i’ll do my best to accurately describe it. 518-692-7758. the price is best offer UNDER $1000.- my answer to “what do you really want for it, or what will you take for it ” is $1000.”
