Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Merlin spotted this oddity; I hope Irma didn’t sweep it away. Some folks on Facebook immediately dismissed it, but I think it was pretty well executed for what it is. The VW hood even mates up with the truck cowl pretty well. We’ve seen much worse….
“Very different and one of a kind rat rod. Built on a 1969 VW Beetle chassis with a 1972 dual port 1600 motor. 1960 Willys truck cab and title. Motor is fresh, completely new brake system, new tires, nice looking rims. Needs wiring to be completed. I have lost interest, too many other projects.”
Doesn’t run at the moment.
