Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “1949 willys jeep 4×4 for sale. Ford 289, c4 transmission, ford 9” rear end, new edelbrock 4 barrel intake, new carb, hei ignition. Bed and hood have been sandblasted and primed. Only problem rust is on passenger floorboard, new panel is cheap. Dual exhaust starts right up.’
