Clean title in hand. Over $6500 invested – reason for sale: health.”
TJ shared this one. It might be a Veepster body. A body similar to this was available for sale back in 2014: http://www.ewillys.com/2014/05/10/fiberglass-veep-like-body-kits-lakeview-or-2875/

Looks road ready.
“VW powered Willys Jeep, Dual port 1600cc engine, 1968 swing axle transaxle, ball joint front axle,
chrome wheels, good tires, new brakes, runs and drives good, steel body, rectangular frame.
Registered as a 1953 Willy”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $1000.
(03/08/2018) I’m thinking there’s a lot of project left on this.
“This is an Original Mighty Mite Army Jeep . Produced by AMC This one has been converted to Volkswagen power. It is not running and is strictly a project. It has an all aluminum body.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $4500.
Has a tiny bit of rust at the driver’s step, but otherwise looks in good shape.
“This is an original VEEP VW kit car assembled using a kit from Hadley Engineering in 1978. The all steel Willy’s body sits on a 2″X3″ box steel frame. A VW link pin front beam, a sedan extended rear trailing arm/adjustable torsion beam suspension, a VW bus 4 speed trans and 1969 air-cooled VW engine complete the kit. This rare kit is sought after by both Jeep and VW fanatics and always garners attention wherever you go.
The ‘BestTop’ vinyl top is only a few years old and is like new. Always garaged. The overall condition is very good with limited surface rust. Starts and runs great. Rear wheel drive. Brakes are a bit touchy as expected with the vintage drum style brakes. This unit includes a solid tow-bar and the light weight makes this a breeze to tow.
Meets registration requirements as an antique auto registered as a 1969 VW.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** Was $2500.
Travis spotted this one. The price is good. This is not a VEEP or a Scamp. It could be a Veepster Body: http://www.ewillys.com/2014/05/10/fiberglass-veep-like-body-kits-lakeview-or-2875/
“1973 Volkswagen 1947 Willy’s Jeep clone. Fresh out of storage tuned up. Runs great, has problem with 3rd gear and reverse. Just registered as 1947 Willy’s, street legal and fun project to drive $2500/bo.”
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $5200
(06/11/2018) TJ spotted this one. This was sold out of Costa Mesa, the place where Hadley Engineering was based. So, it could be a VEEP.
“This is a chance to own a rare VW Veep it’s made to look like a Willys Jeep. it’s a kit car from the 70’s and 80’s out of Costa Mesa CA. per the previous seller. It’s a blast to drive. I love Willys Jeeps and VW’s so when I saw this last year on Ebay. I thought, why not, no wife to stop me. LOL. Well it’s just too much fun to sit in the garage, no time to enjoy. Fun to tinker with. I shipped it to the NE from CA had the seats redone. Removed the back seat (still have somewhere) and took off some pin strips. It looks good from 20 feet and still needs some tinkering with some of the electrical items. ground issue i think. Wipers are not hooked up and the horn doesn’t work. I can’t figure out how the parking brake works or maybe it doesn’t. I bought it with a 1971 VW title and it came back from PA DMV titled as a 1947 Willys. it’s got a bug front and rear end, air cooled VW 1835 dual port VW rebuilt motor, new carb per previous owner. I really don’t know too much about these.”
Not sure what’s all here, but no VEEPs that I’ve seen ever used a 2A body.

“I have a jeep tub and parts with a tube frame for Veep VW original jeep parts go with this needs gone don’t have time to build.”
UPDATE: Still Available.
I suspect this is a 1970s/80s VEEP package or something similar.

“Willys jeep on upgraded vw frame suspension and drivetrain. Only 275 miles since built. Disc brakes. Street legal. Great for weekend fun, off road, on road, pretty much anything. Comes with a tow bar if you want it put it behind a camper or toy hauler. These are selling for 16k at gateway classics. I’m a motivated seller looking for a motivated buyer. Serious inquires only.”
Ted spotted this VEEP. It mightn’t be an actual VEEP, but rather something custom given the MB looking body.
“VEEP made with steel frame and 1943 steel jeep body VW running gear has front disc brakes 1600 dual port title good as 1978 recon”
https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2111844
Seller lists this as a 1946, but it appears to be a VEEP or something similar.
“1946 willys jeep upgraded on a vw frame and drivetrain. Less than 300 miles since the restomod. Beautiful all the way around. Extremely collectible. You will not find another in this good of a condition with all the new model upgrades for the price.”
