About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Posting up my 1951 Willy Overland 4×4.
– Amazing Patina
– Engine Runs – Great Oil Pressure
– Transmission Shifts
Very complete rare jeep with amazing potential.
Original keys and clean California title.
Bring cash and a trailer.
Will trade for older bmw motorcycle running or project. 1972 or older”
If it starts up, this could be a great price, even with a little rust.
“This is a classic! Willys 4WD Jeep Station Wagon with a lifetime total of 75k original miles on it. It has a second engine in it, a completely rebuilt original 6 cylinder “super Hurricane” which is powerful enough to make 70 mph on the high way with the use of a low miles overdrive unit I found and installed in it. The car is a pleasure to drive and a real conversation piece. Sale also comes with a spare, zero miles, rebuilt 6cyl engine of unknown condition. Transmission was gone over by a transmission shop in last 20k miles and runs great. Suspension, steering, drivelines, rear and front drives and body all in acceptable condition. It runs but has been stored under cover for four years since I fired it up last. 4WD works fine. Has some body rust.
This could also be a good candidate for a full restoration. Cherry it out and you could drive it for many years in style!
I’m getting old and need the cash.”

“1951 Willys wagon. 350 Olds with aluminum intake and valve covers and headers. B&M shifter and black bucket seats. Believe it is a 350 turbo transmission. GM 5 lug rearend and Mopar front suspension with rack and pinion. Don’t know condition of engine as never tried to start it. Body is solid and not much rust. No title, sorry. ”
“I have the pink slip email me your number if interested. You pick up. I collect comic books maybe we can work a trade. Sorry no pics on my computer I do have some on my phone I can send.”
The body appears in good shape. There could be value here.
“have a 52 willies it is on a 88 bronco frame has trans and transfer case also have the original frame xtra fenders and core support if interested call”
“Scene shows a view of a catch of an 11 feet & over 1,000 pound Hammerhead Shark with 46 young caught near Bahia Honda by Wilma Branter of Ye Olde Feshin Hole of Marathon, Florida. Postcard is in very good condition and is postally unused.”
Dan spotted this nicely restored wagon. Despite the price, there is still a little work left.
“98 % complete needs a few final touches…Everything gone through…no rust, new paint inside and out, rubber, glass, headliner, white wall tires new or replated chrome original radio…rewired 12 volt system and electric wipers. Everything else is back to stock much more replaced. It has the F-6 161 Hurricane 685 Engine very rare 1952-1955. Sandblasted to bare metal professional paint job. This was a project I did while taking care of my terminally ill wife, she has passed and it is why I’m selling it. I’m willing to negotiate with shipping. A perfect parade vehicle…the PICs speak for themselves…I can email more. Call for more information.”
It’s a project that includes a warn overdrive. The body appears in good shape.
“Classic Willys 4×4 in great condition to restore. Maroon and white.
Original basketweave headliner in amazing shape.
Hurricane straight 6 engine. I have all the pieces to this car except
for the spare tire guard. Years ago I bought a bunch of unblemished interior panels to replace the flawed ones. I believe I have the full set…they just screw on.
I bought two replacement arm rests for the back seats. Have a couple of rolls of piping for headliner edges.
As you can see the woven headliner is still intact and cool.
The sheet metal is predominantly straight, as is the stainless. Front bumper has a bend that needs straightening. There is one rust thru spot in the sheetmetal about 3 inches long near the back right wheel.
I have all the wood slats for floor, all the seats, the spare tire. The last picture is of the extra transmission that allows overdrive, if one wants to install that feature.
I haven’t driven it since 2000 or so…but it’s a worthy project for restoration being so original and relatively good shape.
Craigs spotted this one. It runs and appears worth a look.
“I’ve got a great 1953 Willys Station Wagon up for sale. This was the first 4 wheel drive station wagon to be produced.
It Currently runs quite well, it has a 4 cylinder over head valve engine with 75,000 miles.
The body has a very nice patina and not much rust.
The Willys needs brakes and tires.”
