Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. The otherone is a 4×4 with front and rear axles in place.
There are NO TITLES, bill of sale only.
$1400.00 for both jeeps. Will take a F head 134 engine as partial trade.
Must be crack free and able to be rebuilt.
Will consider a running F134, with the two jeeps as partial payment. Let’s talk.”

Completely restored body, paint and interior. Original engine and four wheel drive drivetrain. Aftermarket rims and tires. Beautiful car that runs and drives well. This car turns heads everywhere it goes.
Asking $15,000 which is considerably less than the significant amount of time and money spent to restore. The car is located in South Central Pennsylvania.”

(From the previous ad) “Caterpillar yellow covers this real life piece of 60’s history. Formerly driven by the Director of Field Training for the National School of Heavy Equipment, Charlotte, North Carolina. The school was founded by Gilbert S. Shaw in 1955 and operated until 1976. Apparently it was the first school of it’s kind in the world! It was painted for the school, then sold, had a 1970’s “restoration” and then sat for another 30 years. The 70’s restoration included a dash modification & a coat of ugly, drab tan. Our “restoration” process included many steps of hand sanding and polishing the entire vehicle to expose the school’s door sign and yellow paint job. Plus of course, clean up, repair, and history research..”
Needs some work, but runs. Has updated engine.

I suspect the price was a bit random. Ignoring the price, this could make a good restoration or drive-as-is jeep.

Apparently, this was a rental jeep. Rent-A-Jeep does show up on a Google search, but I didn’t check to see if it still operates.
