Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Might be some rust in the rear.

Rebuilt engine. New clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing. 4 wheel drive, and dash gauges all work. Surf board “needs repaired” comes free.”

“1960 Willys Jeep Station Wagon, highly collectible vintage vehicle. 4 wheel drive, white over red, 25,000 original miles, good condition, easy restoration. Has plow, but should no longer be used as a work-horse vehicle….this jeep is for serious collectors. Very few of these little beauties are left!
Call for more information and viewing appointment. Original engine and wheels.”

(11/02/2014) Here’s a rare former rescue wagon.
“1958 Willy’s delivery Wagon. I’ve owned this vehicle since 1991. It had 800 miles on it when I bought it from the Warroad Mn. Fire dept. where it was used as a rescue vehicle. Not many folks to rescue I guess. It now has 21,000 miles on it. It has the original Warn winch. I had the overdrive installed shortly after I purchased it. I have much of the original literature for it. I recently had a complete new wiring harness installed. It runs great. The only thing that doesn’t work at the moment is the windshield wipers. The interior is very utilitarian”
Might be worth a look.
