This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “This is a rare Willy wagon in perfect condition for the year.
Bare metal paint, no rust at all, new ford 302 V8 engine, new exhaust system, new tires, new battery, new interior and headliner, rechromed parts, all new rubber on windows. for serious buyers please”

An older restoration that could use some refurbishing.
“solid body and frame older restoration owner has over $20,000 invested over the years in this very rare and custom 61 jeep willys wagon it has a 350 chevy motor and 4 speed trans 4×4 runs great has headers 4 bbl and tons of extras new alum radiator new edlebrock carb new alternator new clutch the frame and both front and rear differentials and underbody all were striped and painted no rust . interior is custom with power bucket seats and custom wood panels this jeep will go anywere and gets lots of attention when it does i am selling it for a friend he does not do computers this is a hell of a good deal very cheap for what it is the body needs some mionr work and it could use some paint work but still looks dam good just the way it is now owner was asking $11,500 but do to personal emergency priced has been reduced to $6500.00 firm to sell fast dont miss out on this one very cool ride”

Seller thought this was sold, but hasn’t heard back from the person who left the deposit.

(05/23/2013) Steve spotted this shortened wagon. It hasn’t been started in years.
“51 willys wagon,has been shortened by 30 inches(easy to turn around in tight spots)rebuilt 4 cylinder,all new hoses-fuel pump-wheel cylinders-master cylinder-brake shoes-3 speed trans,pto on front,rewired,all kinds of new parts.”

(05/30/2014) Most of the pics are small, but the pic below indicates this was a pretty nice build.
“My wagon is a Maverick with white, orange and black paint job. Originally the wagon was available with just the four cylinder engine from the Jeep. Later on a six was added as an option. The six had about 70 HP so the wagon was no barn burner. Now enter my particular wagon. This wagon is far removed from the original.
