This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Engine is a 440hp out of a cop car, rebuilt, with edlebrock performer heads, cam, timing gear, intake and carb.
the truck needs some work, mostly cosmetic, but trans need to be swapped out for another. current trans has no reverse.”

4wd with pto driven winch, rare utility doors in lieu of clamshell doors.Power steering and power brakes.
Not a driver as it needs some work to be driven, but a solid, cool project that gets compliments and looks all the time.”

(04/27/2013) “Very nice condition, recent paint, weather stripping, suspension and drive train rebuilt,everything works as it should. Reconditioned Chevy 283 engine swap, new clutch flywheel and pressure plate. Mallard Blue with white interior. Three speed on floor with two speed trasfer case.”

It appears the body has seen lots of good work. still some project work left before it runs.
“951 Willy’s Wagon. Partially restored. Here is a bit about it.
Most of the wiring was original and was not in good shape so it has all been taken out (with the exception of the ignition wiring) and has been replaced with an aftermarket 21 circuit easy wiring harness which is partially put in.
The bumpers were taken off of it when I stripped it down to work on and paint it. New bumpers have been installed.
The seats are out of it for ease of access to the interior. I have the original back seat. The front seats were replacement seats when I got it, and in poor shape. I do have a clear title, and it is registered in the State of Washington.

(05/21/2013) Looks solid. It needs a pto shaft.
“L6-226 Flathead, driveline is original with the exception of 12v conversion and electronic fuel pump, Koenig PTO winch (need driveshaft for winch), Warn overdrive, Warn front locking hubs, wagon is 99% all original, interior still has wood slats, Willys floor rubber, all seats, headliner, etc, Willys stamped rear bumper, all chrome molding, lettering and grille slats, etc. I am the 4th owner of the Wagon. I have the original manuals and a pretty good paperwork trail for the history of the wagon. If interested shoot me an email and we can discuss further.

(08/22/2011) “Would be a great project! Very rare 1947 Willy’s Overland Panel Jeep for sale.”
We hit our goal on Monday of seeing three car museums in Indiana and enjoying lunch with Steve at an old fashioned diner called Schoops. The downside was . . . when we tried to leave Indiana, we encountered road construction and blocked traffic (I-80 westbound was standstill). What should have taken an hour and a half took three hours. We went right to bed and just woke up a little bit ago. So, there will likely be no updates today.
However, I do have this neat photo Randy shared. The wagon below may have been one of several (exactly how many we haven’t determined) built by Kaiser for touring Hawaii. Note the four doors, extended bodies, and sun roofs.
