Estate Purchase!
This Willy’s was Part of a Private Collection of Classic cars!
The Owner Had Many Rare Classic Vehicles including a Gull Wing Mercedes and Vintage Jaguars!
I think this was his Swap Meet & Daily Driver.
He maintained it well and kept records and Receipts for everything he did on it. (Receipts included)
I was told he purchased it new in 1960 in California and Moved to Washington State in 1972 and Transferred the title. The Title shows Date of Application is 1972.
He had a Small Block Ford V8 installed!
Not sure if it’s a 260, 289 or 302!
Runs Good no Smoking or Knocking!
Three Speed manual Transmission on the Column!
It does have Overdrive but not sure how it works!
Two-Tone Blue and White!”

New shocks, tie rod ends, newish tires, 3.5 inch lift, converted to 12 volt, recent brake overhaul including all wheel cylinders, lines as well as shoes, rebuilt carb, new wiring, refurbished wooden flooring etc. All fluids recently changed, no rust and recent repaint, clean inside and out and underneath. Ready to go to a new home.”

Good heater and defroster, toasty warm in winter, two speed blower.

Mechanically sound, original 226 L flat head six.
Just upholstered with two tone pleated seats new head liner, rubber floor mats.

Spare Jerry cans mounted on each side filled with fresh high test.
Original drive train, no issues with running gear, all fluids just flushed and changed.

Carter Aluminm & Redwood safari roof rack ($2,200) NOS from 1958 already assembled and mounted.

This is a fisherman’s vehicle of choice ready for adventure.
It’s a FUN rig to own and drive….we’re buying a home in Sandpoint and no longer can store the Willys inside.
