“Rare 1949 Willys Overland Panel Sedan Delivery

Clean and clear tittle in my name.

Small rust spots in some areas, for sure the passenger side floor panel will need repair, but overall its pretty solid for its age.

It sits on top of a 1989 2 wheel drive S-10 frame, body not attached to the frame.

The frame its set up for a 4 link rear suspention for a Ford 9″ rear end, S-10 rearend is temporary bolted to the frame for moving around the yard purpose, the Willys has no engine or transmission

-Front and rear Jeep wrangler bumpers
-S-10 V-8 engine mounts
-S-10 V-8 SBC headers
-Speedway round old school Pontiac tail lights

(08/25/2011) There’s some potential here. It looks like a panel delivery wagon to me; I wonder what people were calling it (see last sentence below).  Bob and Dan both note it looks like a Parkway.

“1959 willys Panel delivery Wagon this is rare, see plenty of wagons but not panel delivery, it’s had a life but plenty left in it, would make a grate restoration project or use as is will probably need the gas tank flushing as its been stud since the distributor broke, it has some rot in the wheel arches and some dings but other than that its quite good, it also has a heavy duty winch that goes with, its sold with a bill of sale $1,500 406 250 7003 because of idiot scammers mention flathead lake in your mail.

Apparently people feel the need to corect me on what this willys is, what you see is what you get when you own it you can call it what ever you like pannel delivery is what it states on the vin plate thanks.”

This sounds good for the price.  Pic isn’t very helpful.

“Balanced 327 Engine, 350 turbo trans with B&M slap shift, 4X4 with new tires 31.5X15 nice wheels, duel exhaust with headers and magnaflow mufflers and chrome tips. Was a daily driver for over a year, wanted to restore it but don’t have the time now. This is a great deal, very firm on price, serious calls only please.”

“1951 Jeep Willys Panel 4×4 with a Chevrolet inline 6 and manuel 3-speed transmission. It was parked 8 years ago and does not run right now. This is one nice wagon.

“a friend that started Fujimo in the mid 80’s passed away and i purchased it and finished it. it has had 4 engines a 283,350 ,400 and now a 383 stroker. it has a rack and pinion mustang 2 with disc brakes for a front end. 383 stroker motor connected to a 350 turbo with a 3200 stall converter. top has been chopped approx 4 inches and top of roof stands at apptox 67 inches. car was shown with great sucess in the early 90’s. fujimo was driven and not a trailer queen. he was retired in 1996 and placed in air conditioned storage.. he was taken out approx 5 months ago and sent to an old nascar mechanic in georgia. valves that had become noisy in storage were adjusted, transmission whose seals had dried out was completele rebuilt and cooling system was redoone including new larger radiator, new waterpump and electric cooling fan and larger fan blade was installed. clear coat had a couple of bubbles in it so fujimo was taken down to bear metal and new graphics and coat of yellow paint was applied, new carpet was also installed . old diamond pattern upholstory has a few minor stains but it was decided to leave it alone. considered installing an aftermarket SUV rack for the surfboard but decided against it. It would probably cost over one hundred thou to reproduce this vehicle. have invested over 15,000 since coming out of storage. I am 78 years old so it’s time for my old friend to go to a new home.”

” up for auction is this 1960 jeep willys. it is a 4 cylinder type 4×4.good for parts to restore one. As is where is. come get it or can be shipped.email any question before  bidding.payment in 3 days and parts must be picked up in 7 days after auction end.

I was contacted by a eBayer who informed me this Willys is older then 1960. I was going by the pick slip when I listed it.  Best I can tell by the pictures posted on line it appears to be a 1951 front grill and rear door etc. I don’t know if the parts are interchangeable . But the pick slip says 1960.”

It doesn’t run.  This appears to have been used by a vineyard at some point based on the stenciling.
