This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. “Here is your chance to buy a very rare vehicle. Up for sale is a 1948 Willys Sedan Delivery 4 wheel drive. As you can see by the pictures this Willys is in good shape. Has rebuilt 226 I-6 flathead with 5,000 miles on it. I have owned this vehicle since 1985.”

I just thought this was interesting in that it looks parked in the middle of nowhere. Of course, to be fair, Elko is in the middle of nowhere. That means that Ryndon is even more in the middle of nowhere.

The price on this looks good. I had to do a double take on the “dashboard is in great condition”, because I spotted the wooden instrument panel. I think what Marty means is the dash is in very good shape, but this needs a new gauge panel to look correct.

“The dashboard is in great condition with no cuts or holes made to it. The glass is ok, one of the windshields has a split and one of the wing widows has a crack. All other glass is good. Has original working heater.Tires are good. Has a few small dents/dings but no major damage or rust. (Keep in mind it’s 58 years old!) Has collector plates.”
