This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Has Chevy S-10 Sub Frame.
With Disc Brakes and Power Steering.
Motor is a 2.8 V6 Chev with Automatic Transmission.
Has Chevy S-10 rear end.
Needs an electric fuel pump.
Has been in storage since 1996.
Has original front seats.

“I have two Willys wagons that I need to let go. The green is a 1951, no motor,trans, body has some rust around the wheel wells. The gray one is a 1963 has the tornado 6, trans transfer case. It was dissasembled and all the parts are inside(running gear is inframe) Have titles for both.”

I didn’t know they made Willys postal right hand drive wagons! The Smithsonian’s Postal Museum Exhibit has some great images of early original vehicles used to deliver mail.
From the website, “In August 1953, the first postal jeeps rolled off the Willys Motors assembly line. The model, the first U.S. car in three decades to have right-hand drive, was soon being tested on postal routes around the country.
Carriers used these right-hand drive vehicles to save delivery time on their routes. They were able to more easily reach the mailbox without having to park and go around their cars, or reach over the passenger’s seat to deliver the mail.”
It runs and drives. It appears to have potential.

“1960 wagon with V8 conversion, runs strong. Needs interior, has body rust. 1959 wagon, all original, good body and interior. Hydraulic snow plow pump and hoses on engine. 59 has title, 60 notorized bill of sale. Extra parts included. Price is for both.”

(11/22/2010) This looks like a worth project for the price (it doesn’t sound like there’s much to do)
“I got this on a trade I had visions of making a finished hot rod with it but I just dont have the time anymore. Its mounted and channeled over a S-10 frame with the 4.3 liter engine still in it. The engine still runs but there is no gas tank installed. There is a pretty fair amount of metal fab left, but if you have the skills needed for this project it would make a cool ride. There is minimal rust left on the body. The old floor was rotted out and a new floor put in by the previous owner. I have some more pics if needed. This is located in Broadhead WI which is about 1/2 hour west of Beloit , WI. I live in Sycamore, IL so anyone wanting to see will need to make arrangement with me to look at it.”
