Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Engine rebuilt.
“This is a 1960 Willy’s overland wagon. Originally rare silver with red interior. The interior is great. The exterior could use a repaint. This is a Wyoming vehicle with no rust. Has additional custom built, side fuel tanks tastefully done with switch in cab. Manual vehicle with multiple drives. High and low gear. 3 speed, atlas, 4×4. PTO. New rebuilt motor.”

“This is a classic!! The first year they made 4 wheel drive for the wagon. It has an overdrive and gets up to 55MPH. Great in sand and snow. It is all original with exception of rear and front directional lights. Needs nothing. Lots of fun. Bought a 1988 Grand Wagoneer so I am not using this one anymore.”

“1953 Willys Jeep St. Wagon, 47k. miles. 4 w. d. I bought this from the original owner 6-8 yrs. ago, I got it home and cleaned the gas tank – got it running, drove it around the yard & put it in the barn- I put new bk shoes & 2 new hubs on it. Had plans to restore it but I lost interest, got too old and have health issues. This box of parts go with it and has a tow bar. Has a good solid body and floor. I think there is some bondo in the rear quarter panels. Has clear title.”
