(02/09/2017) Needs some rust repair.

“Runs drives and stops. Engine is leaking coolant into oil. It may just need a head gasket but she found a nicer one so this one has to go. It is a mostly complete Jeep Willys wagon with the straight 6 engine & munual trans. 4 wheel drive. It will need floor pan repairs. The front drive shaft is missing. I don’t know why, it was missing when she bought it.

It has a non-running 283, but looks like a good start to a restoration. Body appears straight and seems to have only some light surface rust.

“Selling my 1963 willys wagen. Clean title on hand. It has a 283 chevy and original transmission, 4×4. The willys has all windows and all chrome, interior is complete no tears, very superficial rust NO RUST wholes. Very rare vihicle and hard to find in the condition that mine is in. (04/07/2017) Nicely updated wagon.

“Summer cruiser. This is a great little Willys wagon that has an older restoration that is still in great shape. It looks great and the 4-bolt main 350 sounds fantastic. It has a 700R4 transmission to get that great overdrive and fuel economy for cruising to those great summer cruise ins’. I have a three-ring notebook and a cd full of the history for this great little rig. I will list a few items below but really to much to list all so if you are interested please call and we can discuss.

It has:
350 with a 4-bolt block W/Comp cam
Flow master 50 mufflers
700-R4 Automatic transmission
Vintage air conditioning
Dakota digital dash instruments
Power steering and Brakes
Disc brakes on the front
American Racing wheels that were put on just before I purchased it
Front suspension – Heidt’s Super Ride 2
Rear End is a Currie 4 link
Coil overs front and rear
Headers

Paint overall is in great shape but as all older restoration could use come spot work as I show in one of the pictures but if you look at the CD I have, you will see they did a great job on it. Lots of pictures.

Lots of work left in this Wagon/S-10 project. Glass and body exterior look good.

“This listing is for a rare 1948 Willys Jeep Overland Station Wagon. This vehicle will make one great street rod, no doubt about it. The Jeep currently has no motor but the engine bay is plenty large enough for any size motor you’d like to drop in. It needs new door glass. The body is sitting on a mid-80’s model Chevrolet S-10 pickup frame. The body work is ~80% complete. This vehicle is being sold as-is. Looks good. The interior “diamond plating” on the ceiling is actually thin plastic sheets cut to fit the side panels and headliner.

“According to Willys records, less than 12,000 wagons were produced in 1959. All were powered by the Super Hurricane 226 Cubic Inch inline 6-cylinder flat head engine. Combined with the 3 speed manual transmission, this drive train produced a neck-snapping 115 HP and could almost reach 55 mph down hill with a tail wind. These wagons came in both the two-wheel and four-wheel drive models and were designed for strength and durability, not speed.

It is difficult to find any of these vehicles today. For the most part, those that do exist do not resemble the original. Most have been subjected to the “improvements” of a high-powered engine and transmission swap.

This rare example has seen restoration efforts by 3 successive owners since 2008. Each has added his or her contribution but no effort has been made to change the original 58 year-old powertrain.
