About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
I dislike having the year on things I don’t know much about, so using the sellers year and description here. It does have the floating rear axle, the top looks pretty cool, sounds like its missing some stuff so might want to go take a look and see what is here.
Information from seller:
Willys MB. found in northern WI with a couple of other jeeps, frame looks solid, will need a complete rebuild, no engine radiator, seats etc, good candidate for a MB Juan body, available from C &C equipment for $3100, find a CJ engine and your in the parade! this is sitting at my cabin, will haul back to St Paul MN on the weekend of the 14th, no tags, no title but has the AMC# stamped on the body. Gearbox and drive shafts sold.
We are pretty far apart on value here IMO, which means pretty much what you paid for it, but it looks like this was a really neat rig back in the day with the roll bar and just overall feel for what is left here. Besides that it looks like a neat CJ3B High Hoods and what looks like a V6 with headers under that, it must have been a blast to drive this one.
Information from seller:
No title but fairly solid can restore as is or use for parts.
Not aligned on price here either but it does look solid, not sure you would have to climb under and take a look. Some of the good, W Gate, gauges, interior parts are there, engine compartment looks complete, looks to have that small circle 4 emblem, hood spear, overall a solid truck.
Things I personally would change, wheels (but I would hold on to those White Wagon wheels if they are period correct (Maybe in a few years people will want those like the current Willys wheels), but it comes with stock wheels so that’s a big win there. Front bumper I would search out a bumper and splash pan, just me. Seat would have to go, Trucks are really tight so really depends on when you sit in this thing how it feels. Mirrors are gone, just not for me on the size of these. I would keep the green but would check for issues underneath that paint job. The radio is cool, but again I would get a repop blank and recut to fit it better. Carb sounds like it needs a trip down to Scoutpilot for some love.
My main issue on price is you are going to need a few Willys bucks to put into this one, have not addressed the drive train at all, for stuff like Brakes and general maintenance items, which will push you in to a pretty high overall price of ownership.
Its a solid looking Truck in the photos.
Information from seller:
