About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

1946 Willys CJ2A. Recently painted. Mechanically original and runs and drives great. I’m in the process of putting the tire carrier and windsheild back on, I’m waiting for a new windshield and gasket for that to be installed. Let me know if you have any questions. Open for trades. Interested in VW Beetle, any American Muscle, Alpha Romeo, Triumph, project Porsche, let me know what you got.
Looks clean, pictures show the paint to be decent, I like this color combo and seems like it has a nice.
Seller’s description
1955 Willys-Jeep CJ-5 Please message for more info. And yes, it runs! Odometer reads 4805, which would be on the rebuilt engine. Old odometer (included) reads 89382
Dealer listed off Hemmings, but sharp looking Jeepster in the photos IMO. Needs some things and a good going over mechanically maybe, but overall looks like you can be enjoying Summer in this one and do some of the basics then peck away at it in the late Fall and next Winter. Can’t hurt to put on your list if your in the Market for a Jeepster this season.
Seller’s Description
This Very Nice Example is in Excellent Condition overall with a recent high quality paint job, nice Brightwork, and a very nice interior. It runs and drives very well and is fitted with an Overdrive. Both the engine and OD unit were rebuilt by specialists roughly 8 years ago. Featuring a Radio and Heater, Full Carpet set, Side Curtains and Boot, this Jeepster has it all!
Offered out of long term ownership and with a known history going back many years, this Jeepster needs nothing really but a happy new owner.
1950 Willys Jeepster Convertible * Only used for parades, garage maintained since 1973 by Shriners
Listed as a 1950, looks earlier than that, has the L134, gauges are earlier, hood and the bright work, not a Jeepster guru by any means but the basic lean towards this is earlier.
Either way its pretty cool, not a bad price point, says Make and Offer!
For some more eWillys Shriners content check out our search results, there are a lot of posts!
Here is an article on a 1961 Road Trip to Utah authored by Rosalie Goldman, I thought it was neat the way they documented these in the newspaper. Nowadays this would be a few pics on an IG Post.
Originally published in 1971, this rare signed 1997 version has new photos and illustrations showcasing Kent’s adventures throughout the Colorado Plateau.
The stories are historical non fiction and memoir portraying the rugged and adventurous life of Kent exploring and rowing through the desert.
Author: Kent Frost and Rosalie Goldman
From Amazon:
A work of regional Americana destined to become a classic – a unique authentic portrayal of the canyonlands of Utah and the nearby states, still relatively untouched by man, rich with plants and animal life and ragged rock formations … illustrated.
The adventures of Helen and Frank Schreider are nothing short of amazing spanning the globe and documenting it all for National Geographic and other Media. It’s a pretty neat collection of stories and documents that are available across the web if anyone is looking for a rabbit hole to venture down. Here is a quick snippet of and article I ran across this AM from 1961.
