About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“1966 CJ 6 Rare jeep 18 inches longer. Has Dauntless v6 rebuilt carb ,all original except for seats, starts right up ,nice top no rust Warn 8000lb. Winch tow bar gun rack . Sweet jeep $8800.”
This has a nice vintage feel, though the fenders look newer.
“Willys Jeep 1961 for sale. Starts, runs and drives. Needs some TLC (it’s a Jeep). Gauges and wiring need work. The 12V conversion is still using a 6V starter. It is titled as a 1964, but when I ran the VIN number it comes up as a 1961 on the search sites specific to Willys.
Numerous new parts have been added over the past couple of years, but I’m moving on to other projects. Continue reading →

“Started life as a 1951 M38 Willys Jeep. Has a Buick V6 engin, runs but needs work “ radiator rebuild, water pump, brakes, etc.” This is a project vehicle selling as is.”
“Runs and drives, newer chevy 4 cyl., power steering.
Looking for a possible trade for tractor accessories—backhoe, tiller, etc, atv, or make me an offer if you’ve got something interesting.”
“The pictures speak for themselves, no engine. The frame is straight and solid, while the body is in decent condition for an almost 70 y/o vehicle. Some small rust areas, but shouldn’t be a big issue for the right person with fabricating skills. There’s no title.
Feel free to check it out, but $1,000 is the lowest it will be advertised for.”
(02/09/2019) I think the trailer shown (though covered by a tarp) isn’t included in the price. The jeep hasn’t been run in a couple decades.
“World War II Trailer is also available. (Bought together the price is cheaper). Jeep has removable aluminum hardtop, back seat, tow bar, tow balls, roll bar, windshield. Needs brake work and some body work. Two speed Hi / Lo and a 3 or 4 speed on the floor. Running when parked in a barn 20 years ago. This Jeep was registered to run on public highways until put on a Non-Op with DMV many years ago. Does not need SMOG inspection or certification, ever. Clean and Clear title.”
“You can buy a ticket to bring your transmission to the show (friday) and tear it down alongside Joe Deyoung, then rebuild it Saturday with parts supplied by Novak. A local transmission shop is going to hot tank it for us friday afternoon. We even have a selection of gears on hand in case new ones are needed.
Alternatively, you can buy a ticket to win the T90 joe is building. Winner need not be present for that, we can ship on the winner’s dime.”
