About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .

Bernd was busy with his CJ-5 again in Austria last weekend. First, he delivered an armchair to his mother-in-law.
Then, he joined a group of vintage cars and machinery at and annual get-together https://zw-oldtimer.at/ , where Bernd acted as a mobile toolbox (and appears to have delivered a passenger tram car). He also helped lay 200m of train track and, on Sunday, acted as a conductor.
Tremaine shared a photo of the updated jump at a horse event in Yelm (Yelm is minutes south of Joint Base Lewis Mccord, so the military theme makes sense). Four years ago it was the fake jeep that was a horse jump. Now, it’s a Jeep jump and an Anti-Tank gun jump.

“1951 Willys M38 MC Jeep
We got it from grandfather’s estate.
He drove it around his farm, parades, etc.
It was parked in his barn around 25 years ago.
It was running properly at that time.
We trailered it home and took it to a mechanic friend.
He got it running and driving.
He said it now runs pretty good. (sounds fine to me)
He and his grandson were driving it around his farm.
I drove it a couple of miles. (fun, but I prefer fast toys)
It it titled in MN, now in our name.
It still needs
1) brake work (brakes are functional but weak)
2) mechanic said slight grinding noise coming from rear. I didnt hear it, but trust my friend.
It has a removable soft top/doors.
We bought a replacement OEM Willys metal gas tank for it
(the original tank is solid but has some buildup inside)
I have video of the engine running, and me driving it.”
