About eWillys
Welcome to eWillys.com, a website for vintage jeep enthusiasts. I update this website nearly every day with jeep deals, jeep history, interesting reader projects, jeep related info, and more.
These quick searches can help you find things on eBay. People list in the wrong categories all the time, so don't be surprised to see brochures in the parts area for example. This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.
The links to posts below show jeeps grouped by models, condition, and other ways. Some of these jeeps are for sale and others have been sold. If you are unsure whether a vehicle is still for sale or not, email me at d [at] ewillys.com for more info.
Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. So, tread carefully when purchasing a "project". If you have any concerns about buying a vintage jeep, or run across a scam, feel free to contact me for help, comments or concerns .
“Willys Jeep 1947 CJ2A runs good, yard drives, has plate welded in where floor was, setup for original cj2a seats, body has some repairs, original flathead engine runs and starts well, minimal blow by, running on fuel cell, no seat frames. Clean title in my name.”
Anyone recognize this scraper blade? Aftermarket Willys equipment?
“This is an unusual scrape blade. Appears factory made and has a farm jeep style top link. Came from farm sale with other jeep attatchments. Haven’t found who made it.”
“This orange metal half top is perfect for a 1949 Willys Jeep. The back panel comes off and has a small plastic window in the back. The top also has a wooden bracket that goes across with a bracket for a light. Could be modified for other Jeep sizes and years. Metal does have flaking paint and needs work to restore”
“Jeep is In Phoenix until 2 p.m. Friday 4/6 accepting offers and can deliver prior to return to Yuma. Cash, trades, drywall tools considered.
1946 Willys Flat fender Jeep project. Behind barn find. Tub, fenders, hood, front and rear differentials, tranny, transfer case all appear original. No engine but has adapter on it…I was told for a small block ford, IDK.
Its a WILLYS man. A piece of history! Found it, love it, will never have time to make it be what it should be.
Many extra parts are present as you can see in pics, radiator, seat frame etc…
Front of frame has been boxed for strength for engine/steering.
Tires are all flat as it was sitting for a while.
Great, rare find! Let’s make it yours.
May entertain offers, trade for parts accessories for CJ, XJ, ZJ, 2nd ammend. Items.”
“1947 CJ-2A. New paint, tires, brakes, springs, shocks. New gas tank. Engine, trans, transfer case all rebuilt. No gas gauge or emergency brake. $9,800.00 O.B.O.”
“This is a 1949 Willys Jeepster Phaeton Project. It is nearly complete and the body and frame have been media blasted, The frame was then primered and painted gloss black enamel w/hardener. The body has no dents and was primered. This will make an easy restoration project, a killer hot rod project or a gnarly off roader. It is all original with no modifications and comes with the original 3 speed transmission with overdrive.
There is no engine but I have a GM 3.8 V6 available. These will accommodate engines from the original 4 cyl. flathead to a small block V8. Parts for these cars are readily available and inexpensive from several sources both new and used.
These are the last of the Phaetons that were produced and there were only about 6000 1949’s made. These Phaetons were only made for 3 years. I have owned a jeep like this before and they are a blast to drive as everyone who sees it gives you the thumbs up and crowds around it when you park.”
“I’ve got 3 of them. Asking $200 for the lot.
#1 with block casting # 641087. It has been rebuilt, sometime pre-1975 as that’s when the shop closed. The serial #states it is a 3J motor though. Comes with carb, trans, tc, and whatever other accessories are attached. Serial # 3J-12582.
#2 with 641087 casting is this truck motor, which was kept indoors, said to have been rebuild and never used. Have not verified this. Still has paper stuffed inside the intake and exhaust ports. Serial # 2T-19742 I think. No trans/tc attached
#3 is 638632 block casting, serial # is J-87149. No trans/tc attached.”
