This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. A toy jeep plays a staring role (at least in the movie trailer) in “Welcome to Marwen”, based on a true story of a man named Mark Hogancamp. Mark was robbed and badly beaten one night. Over time, he coped with his post-life beating by building a the imaginary Second World War Belgian town called Marwencol. Has MB engine with CJ2 head
Has original data plates
The other is a 1943 Ford GPW
Serial number 90844, date of delivery 1/4/1943
Has CJ2 engine with GPW head.
Data plates are not present on this one
I have a title for the 1942 but not for the 1943
I have the original Ford pintle hitch for the 1942.
All other drivetrain on both appear original.
Both need restoration. At least a complete floor replacement for one. I was planning on doing a rest tub for one and making one good tub from the other parts.

“1947 Bantam, 1/4 ton, trailer, sn# 19180, with open Colorado title. Has original slip over ball type hitch and replacement Y hitch ready to install. Three bows.
No tail lites or wiring. I think original 16″ wheels and 6.50 x 16 bias ply tires(tires are in poor condition). Trailer is in registry.
Has usable tires on the ground. Condition of axle and bearings unknown.”
