Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. All of this is new , 5 tires,balanced. top ,side curtains and doors, A arm bushing front and rear, front shocks , front coil springs ,front brake shoes , front and rear wheel cylinders, brake hoses ,master cylinder rebuilt, seat bottoms, radiator hoses, three fan belts, voltage regulator , thermostat, NOS fuel pump , fuel sending unit, rear driveshaft, four u- joints, and rear differential, wiper blades ,wiper arm bushings, front marker light lens, new bulbs all around.
Engine and transmission mounts .Grill cover and hood blanket ,re built Holley carb Pioneer CD player with 4 radio shack book shelf speakers ,rear seat. Stewart Warner mechanical oil pressure and water temperature gauges New 30,000 BTU gasoline heater. Have both front floor pans made by Cameron Manufacturing. Has jack ,handle and lug wrench. Fan shroud included but not installed.”
Matt’s selling this hardtop. Looks like Koenig hardtop, mid-1960s, and probably a 550 Super Full Cab. The sliding side windows, the slight angle and the front top of the door window, and the angles of the roof fit that model. “1959 CJ-5 Complete Hard Top for Sale
This hard top and doors came off of a 1959 CJ-5. It was well maintained throughout the years and is in complete functional condition today with only a few spots containing surface rust (where the Jeep’s body would have touched).
All glass is intact and damage free
All windows function
Hardware to attach it to your Jeep is not included
Beautiful wood paneling on roof and doors

This top is steel and heavy. It is a minimum two man lift.
Yes…it is Pink! The story is a farmer in the UP bought the CJ-5 Jeep new in 1959 with the hardtop. After some gentle use (no dents whatsoever on this thing!), the Jeep given to the farmer’s daughter on her 16th birthday. She immediately had the entire Jeep professionally painted PINK. All the wood trim was removed, it was sprayed and reassembled.
The gentleman I bought this from restored the Jeep, but only had plans for summer fun, and had no intention of driving it in the winter and did not want the hard top. I bought it with a friend for a winter Jeep build, but that project has been abandoned for a CJ-2A project instead.
I will not ship the top. That is not possible, so please do not ask.
I will only accept cash as payment and I will only sell this to a real live person, standing in front of me.
If you are oversees for work and your Brother’s X-wife is going to come take a look at it, she had better bring cash, a pickup truck and be able to dead lift 150 lbs.
I will not talk money on the phone, text or e-mail. I have some wiggle room in the price, but I know how nice this 59(!) year old top is and I will keep it before I give it away.”

(08/31/2018) This is a fun, old school build. I can’t remember seeing another top like that one.
“1947 Jeep Willys. 283 Small Block Chevrolet engine. Warn overdrive aux. transmission. 3 speed plus overdrive, removable top. Runs and drives great. Paint is showing it’s age, but still presentable.”

“This 1946 Willys Jeep has the original motor but will not start. The motor does turnover but will not fire-up. It does have some rust damage to the body (see pic.s).
I bought it years ago and all I have is a “bill of sale”, no title or registration.
It does have the PTO lever but that is all no shaft going to the front or back.
It has a new carburetor and fuel pump and at sometime converted to a 12 volt system.”
Vintage build. Not a ’41 (none produced), maybe a ’42.
