(01/03/2018) Bill shared this jeep. It needs work. It appears to be a convertible DJ-3A converted to 4WD, but the rear fuel inlet is missing.
“Last year of the flat fender. Originally two wheel drive, converted to four wheel drive,with single stick transfer case. Has a V-6 odd fire, dual tanks, plumbing needs to be redone, New fuel pump, new gas lines from fuel pump to carburator needs to be finished. It has been in a barn for a long period of time. Have spare V-6 that goes with it. Seats need to be installed, light switch needs to be replaced, No Rust !!, Clean Title and on Non-Op, $2500.00”

(01/11/2016) Appears to have the f-head makeover.
“11948 WILLYS JEEP, RUNS, DRIVES. NOT ORIGINAL ENGINE NO TRADES, HAVE ORIGINAL SEATS”
This ad appeared in the September 5, 1946, issue of the Toledo Blade. The civilian jeep was barely a year old, yet Sears was already offering replacement engines and other parts. That’s because part of Willys-Overland’s strategy, as early as 1944, was to push the engine apart from the jeep. The company highlighted this during their 1944 annual report (a page of which is featured below this ad).

Dallas is giving away these used tires.
“I have three 7.00×16 military non-directional tires off a ’59 CJ5 jeep. They are made by Mansfield. Not sure how old they are; definitely well-used but hold up well (they need inner tubes). I drove them until recently when I decided to replace the entire set. Would make great spare tires for a military/cj jeep. Free to anyone willing to come pick them up in the Fort Rucker area.”

If you look at the photo of the first jeep, it reads “JEEP” on the windshield, suggesting this might have been a CJ-2 or earlier vehicle.
UPDATE: **SOLD** was $4.95.
Given the $4.95 price and the CJ-2A windshield shown on the box, this must be pretty old.

“this is a very rare 50 willys sedan delivery or panel truck,has 350 chevy motor 350 tranny, mustang11 front end with manual rack that steers great, has finished interior with elec seats, lots of chrome under hood, chrome alt, brake booster, water pump, eledbock alum intake and valve covers and breather, has air brushed stage coach mural and wood grain trim, custom chrome rolled bumpers, this is not a show car but is nice cruiser, may look at part trades, no boats or bikes”
I can’t quite tell which front hubs this has.
