This section used to be split into jeeps, parts and other categories, but recent changes to eBay will require this information to be recoded.

Importantly, the allure of buying a project jeep can be romantic. The reality of restoring a jeep can be quite different, expensive and overwhelming without the right tools and resources. Listed as a 1947, it’s got an M-38 body. Has an overdrive.

If the body has been patched well enough, this might be a good price.

The doors and top looks to be Meyer. The rear door is custom.

“For sale 61 jeep Willy’s runs great. It only needs a tub or drive as is. Comes with full factory plow setup and pick-up style cab, both removed. New manifold, pinion seals done. Compression test excellent making me think the engine was rebuild recently.”

“62 Jeep ready to be finished. I bought this jeep as is stands from a old family friend. He had a fiberglass tub put on it and all new wire harness. Runs good, 4 hi & lo work, but needs several things to complete it. The water pump just started leaking, steering column has a bad bearing (stiff and squeaks), needs new break cylinders as well. I also have a Myers hard top with doors. I have owned it for 4 years and just cant get the time to finish it so want to pass it to someone who needs a project. Keep in mind its old and a project but the body work is finished and just needs some attention.”
